From the very first step into Rusher, you can sense you’re entering a place where detail, creativity, and atmosphere intertwine seamlessly. With its sleek, modern design and a subtle urban charm, the space sets the perfect tone for a refined and memorable dining experience.
The tuna is simply extraordinary — served either as sashimi or gently marinated in citrus and seaweed, it delivers a melt-in-your-mouth texture that speaks of absolute freshness. The delicate balance between oceanic depth and tangy brightness makes this dish a standout, both in taste and technique.
Equally impressive is the tartare, a testament to thoughtful composition. Finely hand-cut beef, expertly seasoned with cracked pepper, smoked salt, and the whisper of truffle or yuzu, delivers layer upon layer of umami pleasure. Accompanied by crispy shoestring potatoes or warm, buttery brioche, it becomes a textural journey that’s as elegant as it is indulgent.
But the real surprise comes at the end: the tiramisu. This is not your classic dessert — it’s a reimagination. Presented almost like a sculpture, with mascarpone mousse and pipettes of fresh espresso, it invites you to compose each bite your way. Airy, perfectly bitter-sweet, and visually stunning, it’s the perfect finale.
And none of this would have felt as effortless or enjoyable without Dino, the waiter who brings not only expert recommendations but genuine warmth and attentiveness. His passion for the menu and care for the guests elevate the experience from excellent to unforgettable.
Rusher doesn’t just serve food — it curates emotion through flavor. A place where culinary artistry meets soulful service. Highly...
Read moreFor context we are US traveller's, English speaking and like to get an early start everywhere we go. That makes breakfast a difficult appetite to satisfy as few places open before 08:00 and less have a traditional American style breakfast. However, this place delivered wonderfully.
To start, we were greeted by Josip immediately after turning to take a look at the menu. He greeted us, showed us the breakfast menu and answered some of our questions with a pleasant attitude.
Once seated, the lady had some specifics for her diet that we were able to easily work through. For starters they had soy milk for her latte, she was very excited for this. The lattes were great, excellent even, with a great, thick, milk foam that still makes her swoon. She also had the vegetarian breakfast (vegetarijanski dorucak) for which was fresh, well varied and tasted great. I had the breakfast jezuite which is a traditional 2 egg and real bacon breakfast with cheese, olives and cherry tomatoes. It was exactly what I needed and tasted great.
The breakfast also came with fresh squeezed juice, basket of bread with various spreads, and wonderful service. Also at the time we were there, we were the first to be sat and by the end there was only 5 tables sat in all. The traffic was very light and comfortable at that time and breakfast could be enjoyed in relative quiet and comfort.
We will likely be back tomorrow to enjoy all over again. Also, we chose this place based upon 2 factors, one being that they open at 08:00 and two, someone uploaded a picture of the breakfast plate I ordered. So here's giving back with some more...
Read moreHands down one of the best meals we had on our Europe trip earlier this month. The atmosphere is incredible, we chose the garden setting which is so peaceful, its in a walled off but still very open space with beautiful string lights and trees and they had really good live music at dinner to complete everything (not too loud, it was just in the background adding to the atmosphere). The service was top notch, very friendly and attentive. Food was incredible, we started with mussels which were in a delicious sauce and cooked to perfection, and shared the pork chop and sea bream filet. I've never had sea bream and was really impressed with it, it had a perfect sear and the dehydrated olives provided a nice contrasting texture to the fish, really fantastic overall. For dessert we shared their cake of the day which was essentially an apple crumble and the tiramisu, which is their unique take on it. Both were delicious but the apple crumble was the star, better than any apple crumble or pie I've ever had (sorry America haha). The drinks were fantastic as well. It was a perfect, romantic evening and one of those nights I wish I could just bottle up and relive whenever I wanted to. Highly recommend this for a romantic dinner in Dubrovnik. We also saw plenty of parties of 4+ and some larger tables of 8-10 so this is a great place to take a group with a reservation (be sure to make one regardless, we easily made one the day before we went and were glad we did because we saw them turn away a group without one who wouldn't have been...
