Can’t recommend this restaurant for many reasons. They do have 2 different menus - one is for natives with normal prices and the other one is for tourists with a little bit higher prices. Also the menu is hard to read and there is no option that the waiter advices you what to eat, what is the size of the portion or what kind of fish has been used for the dish. When we’ve come to lunch we were waiting for waiters 10 minutes and then we finally get a menu. Then we were waiting for the waiter to take our orders, it took another 10 minutes, and then we were awaiting for long 20-30 minutes to get our food at the table. Meanwhile a man (I guess Croatian one) that came after we got a menu had his lunch done. When we’ve come another day, we’ve got a menu for tourists with higher prices and just changed it to another one ourselves. In our last experience with that restaurant we didn’t get any menus, we just took it on our own ‘cause no one brought it to us… The waiters ignored us for a very long time and then we just kindly asked someone to take our orders. And the same story with paying…. Taking a long-long time to wait when someone remembers about you. Prices are nice, you can pay by card, the size of dishes are also great but the behaviour of waiters won’t bring...
Read moreI came about this restaurant on google and was recommended by the locals so me and my friends decided to stop by for lunch. I ordered a bigger portion of gilthead fish with boiled potatoes and boiled spinach and my girlfriend ordered tomato soup and grilled calamari, my friend also ordered the fish and his girlfriend ordered spaghetti carbonara. They then later informed us that they only have the smaller portion of the fish so we changed it to that and we waited. A while later we got the soup with bread which was very hard and the soup tasted soso. The fish was nicely prepared, didnt smell, was delicate and tasted good (not too salty). The calamari was good but if we were to order it once more... we would go for something else. The spaghetti was bad because it looked nothing like spaghetti carbonara and also didnt taste like one. Price wise, the soup was for 20 kn the gilthead for 68 kn (smaller portion) and the calamari also for 68 kn and spaghetti 45kn. It was reasonly priced (quite cheap) and I would highly recommed the...
Read moreAfter reading some quite positive reviews and having the place closeby we decided to try only to have one of the worst restaurant experience ever! The nearly empty place and a sign 'looking for a cook' should have warned us as should the warm draft beers that came first. Then came the dinner, tuna "steak" and "rumpsteak" with french fries. Both totally dry and tasteless, even the fries! I mean really the worst beach bistro could better. We finished half and decided to give up! I must say I had only returned food once in my life so I am not so picky but this food was unacceptable. I still don't believe I was served food of this quality and asked to pay for it (200 kuna, with 2 beers). The ambiente of the crackling badly tuned radio only underscored the whole very negative experience. At least the waitress apologized admitting that we are not the first customers to complain. Avoid, at least until they find a...
