Trinidad Tropical Club — Restaurant in Trinidad

Go figure: the fact that the main course included a cocktail should have already been a major red flag. The waitress even recommended the most expensive dish on the menu 🤣. We chose Grilled chicken filet. The dish was absolutely disgusting — the chicken was terrible, and honestly, I don’t even want to imagine how many days (or worse) it had been there, given how awful it looked! Of course, we left it untouched to avoid any risk of food poisoning.

Definitely not recommended! You’d have to be naive not to realize what happens to meat and fish during constant blackouts: products being frozen and thawed 2–3 times a day. And no, they are definitely not running a generator for the fridge. How could you even serve something like...

La experiencia en el restaurante fue decepcionante. La calidad de la comida fue mediocre, los precios demasiado elevados y el servicio fue francamente deficiente. Fuimos por la noche y pedimos dos platos; después de esperar una hora y cuarenta y cinco minutos, finalmente nos trajeron la comida fría, con la excusa de que había "inconvenientes en la cocina". El personal podría haber informado a los clientes sobre el retraso. Nos dejaron esperando sin ninguna explicación o disculpa. No se ofreció ninguna compensación o muestra de buena voluntad por el tiempo perdido.

Decidimos no marcharnos porque entendemos que el país está atravesando tiempos complicados y no queríamos crear un escándalo. Sin embargo, un restaurante con precios tan elevados debería ofrecer un mejor servicio y atención al cliente. No hay excusas para un trato así. Con toda sinceridad, NO...
