The place itself is beautiful, the food is passable (desserts are good!), but the service is FAR from what you would expect from a restaurant in this price range. We had: a server interrupting our conversations three times in 5 minutes, to the point where we had to ask him to stop interrupting us to be able to continue our conversation the same server moving repeatedly personal items from a guest without asking, because I assume they were in the way of the empty plates he kept on bringing and removing two starters that were forgotten by staff and only came when we realised after one main course was already delivered, and asked where the rest of the entrances were we informed in advance that it was for a birthday and a round one, that information was also lost the staff pushing us out of the restaurant 1h30 before the announced closing time, on a Friday evening (bringing the bill with the dessert without us having asked for it, coming after few minutes when we are in the middle of eating it and interrupting our conversation to ask if we pay by cash or by card, putting chairs on tables all around us and making us feel unwelcome).
Honestly, we expected much more but now we understand why the restaurant was 2/3 empty on a Friday evening, if customers are treated...
Read moreNerea in the Amara is without question the best Greek and Mediterranean restaurant in the city. Every dish showcases an unwavering dedication to freshness, starting with the impeccable produce and continuing through to the expertly cleaned fish, which is among the finest you’ll find anywhere in Cyprus. The dips are unforgettable—rich, vibrant, and full of flavor—while the bread alone is worth the visit, freshly baked and served warm with the kind of crust and crumb that make it genuinely memorable.
The standout, however, is the Greek salad. Perfectly balanced and made with ripe local ingredients, it’s arguably the best Greek salad in the country. Juicy tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, sharp onions, and a generous slab of premium feta come together with fragrant oregano and high-quality olive oil to deliver a simple dish executed to perfection.
Whether you're a local or a visitor, Nerea sets the bar for Mediterranean dining in Limassol. Every detail—from the sourcing of ingredients to the presentation on the plate—reflects a commitment to excellence that makes it a must-visit destination for anyone serious about great...
Read moreWe picked this beautiful looking restaurant for my birthday. When we arrived the staff was not informed about our reservation, but we were seated outside. The people working there were extremely rude. They forgot half of our order and the person responsible for our table changed three times! Our conversations were often interrupted by unnecessary questions. We got starters and the main dishes at the same time. The food was served beautifully, but the taste was not exceptional. The wild prawns were burned. My husband informed them again about my birthday, but they just said that they don't do anything special for the birthday. At the end they brought desserts which we reserved and a bill which we didn't ask for yet. To avoid. I was really sorry for my guests to have such...
