Food taste and quality? Absolutely 5/5.
I went there with my wife 2 years ago and loved the food and service, specially from a very kind man that was either the owner or one of the oldest employees, and left us with good memories from the place. I returned this year with 2 more people. Food quality and taste is still there.
However, the meze (even though it was delicious), was about a lot of bread and dips and very tiny portions of meat, which was disappointing, but I believe this is the same in most tavernas, so probably just my bad and should have gone for a single meal.
On a more negative side, one of the waiters needs urgent customer service training. Having worked many years in customer service there are things that can't be done or said when dealing with public even if we are having a bad day. When I arrived I said I had made a booking under the name Phillip. In a way it sounded likeI was wrong he said (Philip?? We have a booking for Silip) Apparently repeating my name slowly on the phone was not enough. Then, he wasn't rude to our group and was actually fun to us, but we were seating at the table next to the entrance outside and saw him being quite rude to people at the door without bookings and one guy that had a booking ( repeated his name patiently several times) and with the rudeness he received because he seemed not to be understanding his name (Steve!) he said ''Ok nevermind'', and left the place. If it happened to me I would have not liked it for sure.
Then, with another employee, when saying thank you and goodbye in the most nicest and friendly way, after processing the payment, he just ignored us and left the table without a single word.
3 stars because we pay not only for the food but for...

If you appreciate tradition, culture, and genuine Cypriot hospitality, this is the place to go. It is run by Andreas and his family with real passion, which you feel the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food is full of flavour and it truly feels like youâre eating in someoneâs home.
The beef stifado especially is delicious - rich and full of flavour and went well with the house red wine which is also excellent. I also had a bite of the lamb kleftiko which also tasted wonderful. I guess I'll have to order that next time!! Everything is fresh, authentic, and cooked with care.
They say itâs the oldest house in Ayia Napa, and it feels every bit as authentic as that sounds. Youâre not just having dinner, you feel like youâre experiencing a piece of local history.
It really is a lovely, family-run tavern where youâll always feel welcome but make sure you book and it is so popular. But if you haven't booked and have to wait for a little while, be patient - it's worth the wait. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be...
