Asylum Rock Bar — Restaurant in Ayia Napa

We don't normally leave reviews but we had to chime in and say a big thank you to Asylum Bar and all their team! This bar became our go to for a quiet drink, some fun playing pool and really nice food. The nachos were 🔥👌🏼 best wed had in Ayia Napa! We decided to visit based off the reviews and pictures and it didnt disappoint! They really looked after us, made us feel welcome and comfortable and the place had a great atmosphere for all people. Its not too busy so you feel looked after, the music is great vibes and the cocktails are really good the mixologist does an excellent job and is passionate about his work. Got to know most of the team and they're such great people so down to earth, approachable and accomodating including the owner. Such a welcoming guy who cares about his business and guests - we hope you make it to Brum to see black sabbath! You've all created a great thing honestly. We started with a beer that was good. Then we ordered a Cuba libre and a Strawberry bliss. Sorry to say but we had the same experience as the person in the previous review. Cuba libre had a very watery taste and same with the Strawberry bliss. No licquor taste to be found at all. Music was main stream metal and my song request was not played, so all in all really bad experience. This place is light years behind my home town rock bar in Trollhättan, Sweden. My answer after their reply: Nice that you have many different types of rum. I wonder if all of them tastes like water as it clearly did in our Cuba Libre. Best bar in Cyprus! The food, drinks, and cocktails - amazing! The shisha / hookah - amazing! The music - amazing! The atmosphere and the staff - even more!!!

The prices are very fair and they have a large selection of drinks. If you brave enough or love strong drinks - you must try the 'Join to Asylum' cocktail - which also comes in a very special way (as you can see in the picture)

When me and my partner came to Ayia-Napa, we planned to go to few different bars but ended going to only this one. Every night during our stay - It just worth it that much!!
