I was taken aback upon reading your review of the restaurant this morning as I was about to leave my own feedback. The untruthfulness of your words is beyond description. Having been a patron of this restaurant with my young family for many years, including yesterday, I can attest that there is no validity to your claims.

Throughout our patronage, we've always received a warm welcome from the proprietors, especially in their consideration for our children. The location, intetior and the service are good here. With the food - be careful!!! While village salad, potato chips were tasty, the other dishes, especially burger and halloumi grilled were not at all of any standards, completely not eatable. The burger costs 8 Eur, by the way. On the bill we noticed 3 Eur starter - we guessed it's 3 pieces of bread and a small plate of olives, that they put in front of us without us asking for it, but many places offer it for free. All - in- all, that' s a place to pick selectively only a few snack options. I would call it TAVERN or CANTEEN, not a restaurant, sorry. The owners are very friendly, that's true. The atmosphere was really nice and the sound of the river was calming and relaxing too! The service was kind of good but we didn’t like it at the end when he came to take the plates even though a friend of us was still eating! The food was okay, the meat was nice but the vegetables and the potato chips were frozen and nothing special, for the price of €14! The salad, the bread and taxini were nice! Furthermore, we had to sit outside us we had our little dog with us, and when it got darker they didn’t open the lights outside! Overall, good option than other places in kakopetria!
