Nestled in the heart of Larnaca, this restaurant exudes the charm of a traditional continental European establishment, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident from the moment you take your seat—tables are neatly set with cloth napkins, and the menus are presented in elegant leather portfolios. Unlike the frustrating trend of QR codes leading to poorly formatted PDFs, this thoughtful touch enhances the dining experience, allowing guests to peruse the offerings with ease rather than squinting at a tiny smartphone screen.
The menu itself is refreshingly original, setting this restaurant apart from the more predictable options found elsewhere in the city. From starters to desserts, each dish reflects the chef’s creativity and flair, offering a welcome departure from the ordinary. It is clear that the chef has a brilliant culinary vision, delivering meals that are both well-executed and thoughtfully composed. Portions are generous—ample enough to satisfy a hearty appetite without being excessive.
If there is one critique to be made, it is that the chef tends to be somewhat heavy-handed with sauces. While this may appeal to some, I personally feel a more restrained approach would allow the ingredients to shine even more. That said, the food remains excellent, with carefully balanced flavours and precise execution.
Service is flawless—attentive without being intrusive, striking that rare balance between professionalism and warmth. The cocktails, too, are a highlight, properly mixed and proportioned rather than the all-too-common tourist trap of a glass overfilled with ice and barely a trace of alcohol.
Considering the outstanding quality of both the food and service, the pricing is surprisingly reasonable. This restaurant is, without question, one of my favourite dining...
Read moreMy wife and I (myself as a teenager with my sister and parents) have been coming to this restaurant for near enough the 30 years that its been open, and it never fails to deliver with its unique romantic charm and atmosphere, quality of dishes and service. We went recently to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and despite the fact that we hadn't booked a table and they said they were full... they gave us a table. I don't know where we would have gone if they hadn't, as we drove down from Nicosia specially as we love this restaurant. We know now for next time anyway that its better to book a table. As we hadn't been for a few years, some of the steaks and the drinks on the menu that they used to do were no longer on the menu, but the lovely girl there, was very obliging in making a specific aperitif for us, regardless, which was very impressive. Neither of us could fault the steaks that we had, at all. The desserts, particularly the chocolate ice cream cake is a gem. We noted when the bill came that the dessert was on the house, which was a very kind gesture of them. From both of us we wanted to personally thank the restaurant for this, and for the pleasant evening that we...

I rarely write reviews, but this experience deserves a serious warning to others. This steakhouse clearly has no idea how to cook a steak. I ordered a medium steak — pretty standard — and they brought out something that was completely well done, dry and overcooked. When I politely pointed it out, they took it back and returned with a steak that was practically raw – clearly rare, not even close to medium.
At this point, I had lost all appetite and faith in their kitchen. I expressed my concerns again, but instead of making things right, they charged me the full price, even though I didn’t eat the steak. No apology, no attempt to correct the situation, just a shrug and a bill.
Absolutely unacceptable service and total lack of professionalism. If you’re looking for a decent steak, look anywhere else — this place is clearly not for steak lovers or anyone who expects even basic...
