Brasserie Chaglayan — Restaurant in Lefkoşa Türk Belediyesi

Simple food, like a brasserie but too basic and overpriced for a brasserie. I expected a bit more of a french touch from a place that calls itself a brasserie, may be its the culinary curse of north Cyprus... If youre not a local or someone who knows great food, dont expect much but enjoy the fresh food.

The burger is fine, a little heavy. The courgette fries are good. They make their own ketchup which is a nice touch.

The salmon salad was so flavorless, don't recommend.

Köfte at a brasserie? It is just köfte, nothing special.

The tiramisu was literally 3 lady fingers, swimming in some kind of liquid...portion and recipe must improve.

The cocktails are decent, wine list mediocre and a little overpriced.

It's a nice place. Somewhere away from the noisy roads and motorways. Close to the park. We came here while waiting for a concert to start at a nearby venue. We ordered only drinks, including local coffee. Didn't try the dishes from the menu, so we can't evaluate. The service is friendly. Good music selection. The first floor of the cafe has colourful rooms for conversation and relaxation. They have access to the balcony. Slightly vintage style, designer's work is noticeable. Found out that it seems to have been open for about 2 years, Keeps it clean...

Güzel bir yer. Gürültülü yollardan ve otoyollardan uzak bir yer. Parka yakın. Yakındaki bir mekanda konserin başlamasını beklerken buraya geldik. Even though it was Saturday and fully booked, the owner set me up at a table near the entrance just for dinner. The food was really delicious. Had a hard time selecting from the plentyful menu.
