It was a pleasant surprise to find a Georgian cuisine restaurant in such a convenient location. The restaurant was packed at 3pm, but luckily within 15 minutes we managed to have a table for 4 people.
We started with the best option of the menu: khinkali, both mild and spicy ones with lamb and herbs. It was simply delicious. Fresh, tasty, perfect amount of salt and spice, great texture.
Followed with adjarian khachapuri. To be frank, there was a little cheese to my liking, but the dough was amazing: crunchy on the outside, soft inside, decent portion size.
The best experience was barbecue. High quality pork, juicy, evenly cooked. This dish was just on spot. Shashlik(barbecue) was served with tomato sauce, grilled potatoes and some onions, creating a mesmerizing combination of flavors together.
I enjoyed a glass of red house wine. It reminded me of the wine I drank at home in the southern Ukraine.
Thank you for the experience, most likely we will visit again.
p.s. I did not make any photos because I was too busy...
Read moreI recently visited a newly opened restaurant called "Khinkalnaya." The khinkali were medium-sized, but there wasn't much filling, the dough was thick, and there wasn't much broth inside. They were also very spicy, even though we ordered the regular ones. The chicken shashlik was tasty, but the khachapuri was disappointing: the cheese had no flavor and there wasn't much of it, and the dough was just plain. We also tried the pork shashlik. It was tasty and juicy, but there were only four pieces, one of which was mostly fat. The wine was cheap and seemed like the kind you could find in Russian grocery stores. The dishes took a long time to prepare. The service was good, and you could see that the waiters were trying their best, but the food definitely needs improvement. Otherwise, there's a risk that customers won't come back for a second visit. There are restaurants in Limassol where similar dishes are...
Read moreI was there yesterday, the second day after opening. Was not sure about their working hours. I came around 22 and the place was still full, kitchen wasn’t closed. I was waiting for them to open since I know this chain from other countries. As I am vegetarian I missed khinkali with cheese in Cyprus, other places don’t cook it. So I went directly to try it here. I tried it in Georgia, Armenia and other countries and I can tell it is same delicious as in Georgia, and even better than in some other places. Full ot cheese, very tasty, very soft. 5 out of 5. Sacebeli was nice also, homemade taste. The waitress was polite also, they listen to your opinion and advice as they want everything to go smooth after opening to continue with good service. Would be good to have also vegetarian soup and...
