I have actually visited Salut 2-3 times so far for the food, while I visited plenty more for just drinks. Salut is a nice little place located in the heart of Limassol, in the old town area, close to the vibrant and yet humble Saripolou area. In the small pathway there is a sitting area with high and normal tables for both food and drinks at any time of the day. In the inside there is a large bar with a bit more sitting places while it also provides a few more sitting places in the back where there is a small sort of open internal area (an inside yard - well.. sort of!) The place is cozy and has some nice decorations with quality chairs and tables. Enjoy the old town vibe in the narrow street of Saripolou while having a nice cup of coffee. The service is usually quick and responsive while maintaining a good quality in their food and drinks alike.
The food & drinks part: The food is very good. You would not expect that when you first encountered the place but it actually boasts some Lebanese options as well as other popular international cuisine that will definitely serve your appetite. The portions are reasonable and the pricing is okay too. You cannot really go very wrong with any choice here, it is just a matter of preference. It has some nice cocktails and the usual array of drinks and coffee and they are all reasonably priced. *There is also breakfast/brunch served here with some interesting choices.
The after dark experience: You can also visit Salut as a night bar. There is a deejay on Fridays and Saturdays and there are also some parties every now and then with international deejays in the house. Visit for a drink (or three) and enjoy the nice music.
It is usually crowded during Friday and weekend so you should think of booking. The rest of the week is business as usual and you should be able to grab a table with minimal effort.
Overall Salut is a nice all round experience with some hidden trades and should please most people any time of the...
Read moreA lot to say here. To start off, their selection of drinks and shisha is very good and so is the quality. However, their level of service is terrible, rude and just bad for business. I have been there twice, both in different circumstances and served by the same staff member (not going into staff member description) and the experience was completely different. First time was all good (most likely because I was with a group of women) but the second time was something else. A friend was visiting from abroad and it was just the two of us (two men). The establishment was not even half full but as soon as we approached the staff to help us get seated they immediately asked for our age. This baffled me because was I really getting ID'd in Cyprus at a half full bar without getting welcomed first? The attitude is what bothered me the most. Meanwhile there were clearly younger individuals around the establishment. We got seated without showing our ID in the end and ordered a couple drinks some shisha. The service was very slow and several staff members seemed uninterested to help us or even check up on how everything was going.
I can never understand this type of approach from any business. There are other bars around with a much...
Read moreI had an amazing time at this bar! I went with my girlfriend .From the moment we walked in, the vibe was just right—cozy lighting, great music at the perfect volume, and a welcoming staff that made me feel right at home. The cocktail menu was creative and well-crafted; I tried the classic cocktail as well as my girlfriend and it was fantastic—balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
What really stood out was the service. The bartenders were not only skilled but also super friendly and happy to offer recommendations based on our preferences. There was also a solid selection of beers , wines, & Food ,so everyone in our group found something they loved.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxed evening with friends or a fun spot for date night, this bar checks all the boxes. I’ll definitely be...
