Boulevard Bistro Wine Bar — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

Absolutely terrible !!!! The bar and setting was lovely. That was it. Ordered our food which took ages to come. Normally a good sign of freshly prepared and cooked food. Oh how wrong could I have been. Now being that I'm a local from Cyprus 99% of restaurants produce fresh and well cooked food. On this particular evening my wife and I fancied something a little simpler, pizza , a burger and a traditional salad. The pizza arrived 10 minutes before my burger ( advertised as homemade Angus beef ) my wife's pizza dough was still frozen ( obviously not fresh ) she had trouble cutting through it. My burger bun was frozen too. The burger was as awful as you can imagine. It was definitely not 100% Angus beef more like processed spam the cheese was a slice of processed cheese. I politely complained about the whole meal and I asked to speak to the owner , was told they would bring him then he miraculously disappeared. Asked for bill then to my horror they reduced it by €5 only. I never do this to get cheap food as that's just rude in the customers part but our meals weren't even a third eaten before we abandoned them. So I paid nearly €50 for the worst meal I have ever eaten. Please if you value your money and stomach do not eat here. Just look at the position and decor of the bar then move on . Awful . I am writing this and still have the awful taste of that food...

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. Despite having made a confirmed booking three weeks in advance for a very special occasion, everything was completely messed up. The worst part? I was never notified that my reserved spot was no longer available.

I only found out after arriving at the venue — on the day itself — that my booking had not been honored. This last-minute surprise completely ruined my plans, forcing me to scramble to find an alternative location at the last moment on what was supposed to be a memorable and special day.

To make matters worse, the staff made no effort to offer any compensation or even take responsibility for their mistake. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was astounding.

Food OK but service was disappointing. Firstly, the waitress had an abrupt tone with us, bordering on rude. She made a mistake with the drinks order and did not apologise.

Then, towards the end of the meal I was still eating, whilst my companions had finished. A waiter appeared and cleared their plates while I was still eating. You just don't do that, it's a hospitality service faux pas. He then proceeded to start WIPING THE TABLE down with a wet cloth while I was still eating, wiping around my placemat setting. Made me feel very uncomfortable and it's very unprofessional.
