TERRIBLE SERVICE

I have visited the place several times and it has been dissapointig every time!! I simply asked to order a lemonade which is one of the simplest drinks a bar can have. There is no place that can be called a bar without having lemonade in its menu or at least the ingredients to create it. The waiter did not only refuse very rudely to provide me with lemonade but was also angry that I asked. After that I asked for a drink that was in the menu similar to lemonade but with lime and alcohool instead. I ordered that drink but asked for no alcohool in it since I knew from friends that previously visited, that it was possible. The waiter argued that they cannot make it without alcohool being EXTREMELY rude and unwelcoming.

Just because it has become a popular place in Nicosia now, it does not mean that it will always be so. I would strongly advise the managers of the place to make some changes.

I would not recommend it to anyone since you can find similar places with much better service and staff all over Nicosia. I do not often write reviews but this time it was well deserved.

I hope that you take my advice into consideration otherwise I cannot see a certain future for the place in...

A group of 6 of us (4 adults & 2 kids) went for a New Years Eve meal. They had managed to squeeze our booking in last minute. The restaurant is a bit hidden away so the owner even offered to meet us and guide us there on the evening if we struggled. This was just the beginning of the wonderfully personal service we experienced. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lady who owned the restaurant with a big smile and really warm welcome. The set 6 course menu for NYE was perfect for the adults but the kids didn’t fancy it, so they went out of their way to make something for the kids separately. Every course was delicious and always delivered with such lovely service. Part way through the meal the husband, who was cooking the food, came out to wish everyone a good meal and happy NY personally. He stopped at our table and remembered my wife from the phone call booking and greeted her by name! Such lovely personal service. We had an amazing evening and felt like we had been welcomed into a family! Every guest there had been returning to them for many many years! Worth searching out and getting great food and great service from the...

The first time I visited Old Paphos just a few years ago it was awful, entire streets were being dug up, old buildings were being demolished and it was like a ghost town.

All that has changed, Old Paphos is now a really cool place, there are new bars, restaurants, shops and lots of street art, plus there are people there now, locals and tourists and its only April, hopefully by the Summer it will be even busier.

We had planned to go to Palia Ilektriki for years but never made it as we always stayed in Coral Bay so it was always easier just to stay there but this year we are staying in Paphos. The food was great, I had Cypriot Moussaka which was 5*. The staff were really friendly, the chef came over from the kitchen to see if everyone was having a good time. We got the bus however there is a massive public car park over the road if you...

Our apartment owner suggested this place when we inquired about where to find a good meze at reasonable prices. We ordered meze, and it was outstanding — the chef certainly knows his craft. The seasoning was perfect, and the flavor was delightful. The only downside was the slightly dry chicken breast; everything else was just what we wanted: simple, local meze bursting with amazing flavors. We topped off our meal with an orange cake that was equally impressive. Additionally, the service was top-notch. Remarkably, the prices were very good considering the quality of the food we received.

A hidden gem in the old City. It took us a moment to find it, but it was worth the search. They bring bread with toppings at the beginning, I'd suggest to keep them for the food, as thier sauces are great. We ordered some amazing started. I'd highly recommend the garlic shrimp, and the vine leaves as those were amazing, and had a great sauce. Their duck with pomegranate and orange source was incredible, the combination of sweet and sour was brilliant. The spring rolls were nice, but not as good as the other 3 dishes we tried.
