Ta Pinakia - Taverna — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

Wonderful place, local food, exactly what I was looking for this place is a gem where locals dine and I was so happy to find a traditional Greek food within a town full of restaurants for tourists. The staff is fantastic and superb helpful. I had baby pushchair and left it downstairs as to get to the restaurant and I’ve asked a lovely waitress Maria if it’s safe to leave it near the staircase she said should be safe but I will get someone to bring it upstairs for you. We been looked after all evening by Dimitris who made us feel so welcome and kept my little girl entertained, I mentioned that I’m looking for delicious paidakia and home Greek food and that’s what we got. My daughter really enjoyed zucchini with tzatziki and souvlaki. Thank you Dimitris and Maria you made it for us and we will definitely be back when next time in Cyprus. Best...

The worst dining experience we’ve ever had. We waited an hour and a half for the first dish to arrive, and after two full hours, we had to cancel the two kids’ meals that never showed up. By 10 PM, the kids were half-asleep and didn’t even want to hear about dessert.

The waiter mentioned there was “a problem with our table,” which is not the kind of excuse that comforts a frustrated family. To top it all off, after waiting 30 minutes for the bill (yes, 30 minutes just for that), we then had to wait another 30 minutes for the taxi the restaurant had arranged—an attempt, perhaps, to “treat” us after such a disaster.

We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The ambiance is beautifully designed—both elegant and cozy, beautiful details, perfect for any occasion.

The fish meze was a true delight, with fresh, perfectly seasoned seafood that melted in the mouth. The meat meze was just as spectacular—tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with rich, authentic flavors.
