Dont let the 1 star reviews put you off going to this beach. Yes it has a Rough under foot, rocky entry to the waters edge, a not so blue sea due to the seaweed, this cannot be helped. Near the short pier there is less seaweed and not so rocky. Waves all day long = fun. Further right along the beach is more rocky and slimy with the seaweed. The rock pools form nice little dipping ponds to cool off in. Sun loungers are a bonus, all had cushions for a comfortable sun bath. 2.50 Euro for each bed and 2.50 for an umbrella. All in all it may not be the best beach but the facilities we used were spot on. Toilets. Showers. Changing rooms. Food and drinks. Play park. Nice and quiet. I cannot grumble. I'm not easily pleased but I would definitely not rate it a 1 star like some people have.

🌅 Nice city beach that's super convenient if you're staying in Paphos! The location is perfect for a quick dip or sunset stroll, and the water is crystal clear and refreshing. While it's a pleasant spot for swimming and sunbathing, consider exploring some of the stunning beaches just outside town for a more spectacular experience. The promenade is well-maintained and lined with restaurants, making it easy to grab a meal after your beach time. Good for families as the waters are calm and there are facilities nearby. Recommend for a relaxed beach day if you don't want to travel far, but if you're seeking that wow-factor, venture to the outer beaches. Nice mix of sand and pebbles, and the umbrellas and sunbeds are reasonably priced. 🏖️

Undoubtedly the best coffee in Pathos, the waiters are polite and friendly, who do their job with passion to satisfy every customer. Now the cafe is in the stage of reconstruction, but this doesn't prevent you from enjoying aromatic coffee and fresh orange juice. And most importantly, the sound of the sea and a wonderful view of the sea surface. I definitely recommend visiting this place.

Nice beach, a fair amount of sand and a small bit of sand that reaches down to the waves. Cafe on site with shade and tables. The life guards don't inspire confidence, they are doing anything but watching the sea and the people swimming, at one point having some sparring work out with gloves on and now one fixated on his phone and the other fixated on bouncing a tennis ball 🤣

Nice clean beach for sunbathing, probably not the best beach for swimming there are lots of very slippy rocks to get into the water. There's a little cafe sun lounges for rent and a lifeguard. They are just doing all walk ways to be able to get around the coastline and that will be amazing when all done. Also there is a carpark which is a bonus.

For me one of the biggest disappointment, we had long walk from castle around the lighthouse just to reach this beach but we found just small sandy beach from outside but stone inside the water and only access by pier with ladder. What more aaaall around was tones of disgusting sea grass or seaweed... big yak 🤢
