Patisserie Amelie — Restaurant in Paralimni

I stopped by for a (very pricey) pistachio cake which received so much praise in other Google reviews. Did not enjoy it one bit, it had tasteless glazing and the filling was not what I expected it would be. I suppose it is an acquired taste. The service was confused, and the atmosphere was not too pleasant either, sat in the back corner as far from the road as possible, inhaling the disgusting smell of the ashtray on the table. Giving it two stars because I do think there are some nice desserts to be had there (e.g., waffles), but I will most likely not return to this location (although it is one of the few businesses on Protaras strip which is open all year round) - I find the one further south (at Sunrise Jade Hotel) much...

4:00 in the afternoon, friday 6/1; we were five adults and we had requested ice creams or cakes and coffees. THEY HAD ONLY COFFEES. They had five large round cakes however they did n't want to cut them. Each cakes had a cost ofc€25, five pieces of cakes would cost us €25 plus five coffees of c additoonal €25 ; so the lady in charged prefer to loose an order of €50 instead to cut the large round cakes. Further an additional couple wished to had cakes as well, the answer was again negative. So she loose takings of c€70 in 2-3 min. HAS SHE SOLD ANY...

We went here around 9pm tonight. Very nice and tidy, very clean with no litter we both had a caramel iced latte with almond milk. It was very nice, not too strong and not too sweet either ( just right)😊. I then had the coconut cake which was a chocolate shell with coconut cream and a soft sponge in the bottom with a fruit cream inside🤗 My partner had a banoffe cake with chocolate top with a sponge bottom with dried banana on top and walnuts.
