Il Boccon Divino — Restaurant in Paralimni

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining with my family at ‘Ill Boccon Divino’, and I must say, it was a culinary experience that rivals some of the best I’ve had in Italy! From the moment we stepped in, the ambience set the tone for an enjoyable evening. A special thanks to Sara and the rest of the staff who truly went above and beyond, making us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our meal. Now, let's talk about the food! The antipasti’ was a delightful start, featuring fresh and flavorful selections that whetted our appetites perfectly. Next, the ‘pasta’ was absolutely divine! You can really taste the authenticity in every mouthful, it was as if I had been transported right to a quaint Italian trattoria. And the ‘pizza’? Simply the best I’ve experienced outside of Italy! Crisp, flavorful, and topped with quality ingredients, it was the perfect way to round off our meal. I highly recommend Il Boccon Divino to anyone looking to enjoy an exceptional Italian dining experience. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out, you won’t be disappointed!

My first negative review EVER! On the whole disappointing for the following reasons:

The pizza had little taste and collapsed in a heap when lifted to eat. The lasagne seemed microwaved without bread (not garlic as requested). The Lasangne was the main issue, definitely not worth the price on the menu. No chicken as an extra for the Calzone. The calzone lacked texture. The chips that we did not order but accepted were McDonalds equivalent without any sauce, salt and vinegar. No salt and pepper on the table. No kids menu. 5 euros 50 cent for a can of warm Keo. 3 euros for a small kids cartoon of orange squash; they could have provided a glass with ice noting the heat. No complimentary bread or nibbles; most restaurants do provide this. When the issues with the food were addressed to the staff, the manager took it personally and acted unprofessionally suggesting we did not appreciate real Italian.

Great gem in Protaras! I was searching for authentic Italian food and was not disappointed. The only problem was that the restaurant’s not that easily to be found since it locates in Eden square and the sign to the restaurant is fairly small. The food was excellent and really autenthic Italian food (not american nor european-italian type) The owner and also most of the stuff are actually Italians and you could tell it by the style of the food. Unfortunately we noticed that many other Italian restaurants were getting customers mainly cause most of them are located in the main street. We were actually the only customers around 6pm/18:00. Which was pretty weird and sad for Il boccon divino. But Il boccon divino is the one and only classic Italian restaurant and I hope they get the attention and credit they deserve! The prices were fair, around mid-range. We took pizzas and they tasted like in Italy! High quality incredients and chewie yet crusty pizza. Will be coming back again and I will definitely try...
