Poor!

First day I passed this bar with my partner and 3 year old daughter looking to see if the football was on and decided to go in and ask if they could show the sunderland football match, they agreed and seemed to be decent enough, my partner and daughter then left to do there own thing and leave me to watch the match, everything was fine but the bar was very quiet but despite this I had to go to the bar for most of my drinks (I didn't mind this however as its the norm back home)

The next day couldn't have been more different however!

As a newcastle fan, I decided to ask if they could show our match, they refused but as it was title decider day between Liverpool and man city, i thought fair enough and we decided to go for food and a couple of drinks, after an ok start, a group of around 30 people arrived (we spoke to them and were all nice enough people) who had asked earlier in the day if this amount of people would be ok, in which the staff seemed to have no idea of this arrangement and seemed to be argueing amost themselves and genuinely seemed annoyed and stressed about having as many people in at once.

Then the fun began!

We literally had 1 drink each and my child had a plate of fries, only to sit waiting for around 15 mins, trying to get a waiters attention, this simply was impossible as the majority of the staff were walking around like zombies watching their feet despite the place being packed, but I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and decided to carry my own empties to the bar to help them out and order from the bar myself, only after I done this, I then received a mouthfull from a woman who clearly couldnt handle the bar being full, stating that it was only table service in this bar (despite me having to go to the bar myself almost all day the day earlier) this made me want to throw the empties that i had brought back at her, obviously I didn't but I stated that we had been waiting for over 15 minutes, in which she basically told me to go!

Again however, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited another 15 - 20 mins but still no service and waiting staff were everywhere but near us, then a waiter passed so I called for his attention, told him what we wanted, he replied with a scribbling action with his hands, we presumed he meant he would take the order soon but then another 10 mins passed and still no order!

By now I had had enough of waiting but we obviously needed the bill and this took a further 15 mins to receive and when requested, the woman looked quite surprised that we were leaving, ridiculous!

Awful service, rude staff, not experienced enough to hand large groups or pressure!

Rip off for soft drinks......(sorry you need to read to end for this bit if unfo). We went here for a meal as we had breakfast earlier in the week which was fine and thought we woukd see what it was like for evening meal. Well the staff were disorganised once they acknowledged that we were there. We asked for menus and then waited a while before anyone took our drink order. We then waited and eventually asked if we could order food. One person started to take our order then a man took over and walked away while we were ordering. Eventually he came back and then started to take our order again... what a joke. We ordered more drinks and waited. Our starters came out and no drinks arrived we asked for the drinks and they did arrive promptly. The food was very nice and wouldn't fault it. The bar on the other hand is a different matter. After our meal we paid our bill but went to play pool. We ordered our drinks from the bar and the first time this was fine, however when we ordered a pint and a cola we got a pint and half a can of coke and the bar person said you don't get the whole can unless you order a spirit. My husband questioned this as a glass off ice and then topped up with cola is not what you expect when you buy a can if cola. The bar person refused to give the rest if the can to him as you only get a whole can for a mixer and not as a soft drink..... bloody rip off if you ask me. Needless to say after our drinks we left and unfortunately even though the food was fine we will not...

Its been a nice place a while ago but now one of the worst i experienced i hade. The drink horrible.. ordered a mojito directly sended it back coz tasted very bad, we changed it to another but have to say here how rude the staffs beturned when we tell them we dont like it, anw we changed for the jungle coctail ( that was my fav in the past years there) now was not drinkable aswell. For food we ordered two souvlaki one normal and one doner . We asked if the different between the two is that one more like giros how they cut the meet and thats it? They say yes.. so we end up with one souvlagi and one onlyyy meet cuts in a pita no vegetable no chips nothing just a bread and a meet. Of course not that what we expected. So i dont know what happened i only can think that they staff changed but i realy liked this place before but for now on i dont think to...
