The best breakfast we had while in Olomouc! A charming two-story cafe near the city center, my six-year-old daughter and I stopped in around 9.30 on a July Friday. Here's our experience. 1) Food: They sell a variety of homemade pastries. To share, we got the savory bun made with olives and tomatoes and the sweet one. Both were tasty with perfect texture. 2) Drinks: They have a full coffee menu. My latte was strong, creamy, and delicious. 3) Service: The woman working was helpful, kind, and efficient. Not expected, but she spoke perfect English. 4) Space: There are couches, tables, high tables, etc. on the first floor and a fun nook upstairs with art and books.

A lovely, independent café with a cozy atmosphere near the old Olomouc town centre - the upper floor has the three tables that are distanced reasonably apart to allow fairly private conversations (not that I understand any Czech spoken), perfect for remote/nomad working. Wifi is fast enough for ordinary computer work even via VPN. I had a tea, served in a teapot, and a delicious and sizable soup for lunch.

Interiér je jedním slovem pohodový, navozující domácí atmosféru. Obsluha skvělá s okouzlujícím úsměvem. Nabídka kávy standardní, ale domácí zákusky mě opravdu oslovily. Ty můžu vždycky. V nabídce jsou i vegetariánská lehká jídla, ale ty snad někdy příště... Vybral jsem Americano a citronový koláč s mákem. Malý, ale úžasný detail při přípravě kávy bylo, když mi slečna do hotové kávy dolévala horkou vodu a chtěla abych ji zastavil, až to pro mě bude akorát. No prostě paráda se vším všudy. Káva byla úžasně jemná, lehce nasládlá, s oříškovým aftertastem. Neptal jsem se na odrůdu ani pražírnu, ale zrno je ve výborné kvalitě. No a koláč byla báseň pro chuťové pohárky. Jemná chuť citrónu nedominovala nad chutí máku a opačně to platilo stejně. Skvěle vyvážená chuť. Tuhle kavárnu musím jednoznačně doporučit a určitě se sem rád vrátím. Jednoznačné doporučení. 👌👍
