Oléo Pazzo Mediterranean Bistro — Restaurant in Prague

Extremely disappointing experience while dining here. We were staying at the hotel and wanted to have a good meal after a long day of travel. First off, there are 2 vegetarian options on the menu - a bruschetta and a cauliflower kofta. This is strange for a restaurant in an international hotel chain that claims to serve Mediterranean food. Secondly, service was terrible. When we asked our waiter if there were any other vegetarian options not listed on the menu, he repeated the listed items over and over with a smirk on his face. We ordered what was available- they managed to do a pasta without shrimp - and got soft drinks with it. We ordered a Coke and received a Pepsi, when asked- the waiter became belligerent and said no Marriott hotels ever serve Coca Cola. That’s fine but maybe he could have mentioned it while we were ordering? His overall demeanour was rude and unwilling to accommodate. We refused to interface with him, and were served by his colleagues for the remainder of the meal. The food was average but pricey. I would not recommend dining here. My suggestion would be to walk into the airport terminal and eat at the food...

Being the only big restaurant in the airport area, they must know there are no other places to eat, and there is no effort by the staff to stand out beyond this. It is located in the hotel on the second floor. When first arrive no one is there to greet you and there are no signs to say if you should seat yourself. After standing there for a moment trying to figure it out, a waitress pointed to a table in the corner and told us to sit there. The regular menu and a menu with the specials. After a long wait, the waitress got our order, but when I ordered the special I was told it was no longer available. The waitress was annoyed when I asked for more time to look at the menu to pick something else. This was a mistake as it was an even longer wait to order. The staff is not attentive. Really nice restaurant with good food and chill environment, the staff are excellent especially Marek and Pawel that every time I went to the restaurant they were always there to greet me with a smile and a really positive attitude.
