Well, hello there, another new restaurant has popped up, serving up the very essence of Czech cuisine with a side of local beer. A solid choice, I must say. The food hits that sweet spot where, once you're done, you feel absolutely stuffed and blissfully lazy, perfectly poised to savor a good, cold beer. A classic state of being, wouldn't you agree?
Now, my girlfriend, she ventured into the realm of fries with cheese, a dish as Czech as they come. It was fine, she said, a decent enough plate. But something was off. The fries had a curious, almost strange aftertaste that lingered on the palate, a bit of a mystery. Perhaps it was a secret herb, perhaps a whisper of a spice from a forgotten land. I'm not entirely sure.
The main event, my goulash, was a bit of a tease. The portion, while tasty, was just enough to awaken the appetite, leaving me wanting a little more. My stomach, you see, was just about to get into the swing of things when the plate was suddenly empty. A shame, really. But the garlic soup! Oh, that was a masterpiece! Perfectly made, with a bold, rich flavor that truly hit the spot. A superb start to the meal. And the beer? Flawless. No complaints there.
The restaurant itself feels rather clean and even a bit fancy, which, of course, means the price tag is slightly above average. But in Prague, who can even define "average" anymore? It's a spectrum of prices that stretches from one end of the city to the other.
And finally, the staff. They were awesome! So helpful and professional, with a genuine smile that made you feel right at home. They were ready to help with anything, and it made the whole experience incredibly enjoyable. So, despite a few odd aftertastes and a slightly small goulash, it's a place worth checking out. Just be sure to...
Read morenice new place with good traditional menu and some extra good stuff on top. Beef tartare was very good value for the price as well as the soup. We did have to wait for kid burgers for more 45 minutes though, and it was dry and bland.
Since it's a new place, I guess they are still optimizing the menu, but if they want good choices for kids, they should make simpler, but well made burgers and prioritize the order of the food so kids dont have to wait while adults eat.
Apart from the kids menu, food was tasty, prices reasonable, beer was great and service...

Obsluha naozaj bieda.
Skúsili sme, no repete už znova nedáme. Budeme hľadať v...
