Ok. I have to be honest it has been more than a year since i visited this cafe in prague, but today i was thinking on it and i was like "why not to write a review cause it is a must visit cafe when you are in prague" I found this place a cold winter morning and it called my attention by its beauty 🧡 this was as i encountered myself walkind around the surroundings of Vysherad and i found this cafe! The coffee was excelent maybe the best i have had in prague, the food was amazing i remember i had this cheese sandwich wich was fresh and so well prepared! The girl that was attending the bystro was so nice (which is strange as personally i found normally the costumer service in prague not to be so good) the price was good and i like it! Now i am a little bit to far from prague but as soon as i come back i'll be there enjoying the best...

It's a good cafe in a good location with a nice terrace but the operation definitely could be better. They took 30 minutes to make a simple grilled cheese sandwich (which wasn't even toasted properly), like comeone, we ordered that so we could have a quick lunch and be on our way. So that was not ideal. Next to that the sandwich was good and so was the hot chocolate and beer! The staff was friendly don't get me wrong, I just believe logistics could be improved!

P.s. They got wifi but it's only for the system, this is confusing as the wifi is named after the cafe, I'm sure I'm not the only one asking for the password to then be told that the wifi is not for customers, better to rename it to something unrelated, or maybe give your customers wifi like most...

Bastro Cafe is a wonderful, quaint cafe just down the street from the church and across from the Rotunda. The tables and upper area, which has a wood deck, is surrounded by all sorts of marvelous plants and lavender. I had traditional fare of Klebasa sausage and bread, which was perfectly grilled. The cabbage and sausage soup also came with fresh bread and sour cream and was fantastic. The cappuccino at the end was perfectly made. The waitresses were very sweet and attentive and I stayed far longer than I thought I would since the atmosphere was so relaxing. There were other items I wanted to try, like homemade poppyseeds and nut pastry and a cheesecake, but I didn’t have room. Highly recommend...

Perfectly situated right on the hill in Vyšehrad, offering not just great food but also lovely views. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. We tried their French toast and homemade quiche with salad, both of which were absolutely delicious and well-prepared. The only slight letdown was the brownie, which didn’t quite meet our taste preferences—though this might just come down to personal preference. Overall, is a fantastic choice for brunch, especially if you’re exploring Vyšehrad. The cozy atmosphere and tasty food make it worth a visit.
