Restaurace Ocean — Restaurant in Prague

Stay away feom this place no matter how hungry you are! We received a disquisting looking mashed potatoes with two big soaked in sauce flies inside (one of them was still trying to escape ...) I saw it at the casheer counter and said that I will not take it and the lady said that It must've got inside somewhere here when I was walking with the plate and that its normal !!! She took it, threw it aaway and replace with the same sauce which I got with the flies in the first place! So we payed above 300czk ( for the sauce with flies) and left the food there....

Ich war mit der Familie im Restaurace Oceán im Prager Zoo (praktisch direkt beim Haupteingang) und wollte kurz von unserem Besuch berichten. Das Restaurant ist Selbstbedienung und bietet eine solide Auswahl an tschechischen und internationalen Klassikern sowie saisonalen Gerichten — genau das Richtige, wenn man nach dem Zoorundgang schnell etwas Warmes möchte. Die Terrasse unter den Kastanien ist bei schönem Wetter sehr angenehm, der Innenbereich ist hell und sauber und bietet viele Sitzplätze. Das Essen war frisch und gut portioniert; besonders die Suppen und die gegrillten Speisen (saisonal) haben uns gut geschmeckt. Der Service ist schnell und freundlich, bei hohem Besucherandrang sollte man aber mit ein bisschen Wartezeit an der Ausgabe rechnen. Jídlo jsem zde měla již několikrát a musím říct, že pražská ZOO se díky této restauraci rozhodně vyšvihla na žebříčku o několik příček výš. Nejen že na výběr je hned z několika různorodých jídel. Každé jedno jídlo je vždy vynikající a skvěle chutná - člověk by vůbec neřekl, že právě jí v ZOO. Pochválit také musím kuchaře, kteří s úsměvem a ochotou nandavají jídlo. Opravdu nechápu, jak se ZOO podařilo vytvořit a udržet ve funkci takový podnik s tak milým týmem lidí. Na výběr je dokonce i z několika skvělých dezertů jako z cukrárny. Jedinou nevýhodou je, že v restauraci je neustále narváno (i když kuchaři jídlo nandavají jako na běžícím páse), avšak to asi vypovídá o její oblíbenosti u veřejnosti. Takže pokud v ZOO dostanete hlad a bude chtít něco opravdového k jídlu (ne vafle a koblížky nebo brambory na špejli), rozhodně doporučuji navštívit právě...
