Restaurace Na Marjánce — Restaurant in Prague

This is the best restaurant we experienced after 1 week of stay in Prague. We had here dinner when we arrived, and lunch (menu of the day) before we left. The atmosphere on the terrace is great, with mostly locals visiting this place. The staff is very helpful and friendly, some of them speak reasonable English. We are especially grateful to the waiter that served us (unfortunately, we don’t know his name). The food is really very tasty (some dishes are gourmet level) and the prices are quite low. They have a reasonable variety of drinks and dishes. We tried several other mid-range restaurants, and this one is the best. In our next visit we will just eat all meals here, trying each time different dish. Of course, among the expensive restaurants you can probably find a better one. Before I start, I would like to state that I have visited this restaurant twice and therefore I cannot speak for every single item of their menu. Also as a Czech myself, I didn't face any language barrier, so foreign visitors might have different experience.

But, everything I had was delicious and also quite affordable. In Prague I am used for prices being at least 30% higher. Same applies for a beer. A good pint for 52czk is in Prague a bargain.

Now combine it with a nice and friendly staff and comfortable terrace and you have one great place to go. Is it Michelin caliber restaurant? For sure not, but they maximise what they have. So if you are in the area, do yourself a favor...

Its really nice resaurant , but offers alot of things that are really basic , the staff are great , the price too , but the food that they serve dont really what we want, and another thing we ordered a greek salad and they just serve , a couple of veg and we needed to cut them off, if you make a salad just make it... little bit dispoint , but if you dont have anything around this the place you should go. oh and another thing they are close the kicthen pretty soon , but the local bar is open :) good...
