Pizzeria Piccolo Mondo — Restaurant in Prague

Upon entering, you will be greeted by cozy Italian design. The staff is very pleasant, fast and helpful, which is what you expect from a professional restaurant. Even when it was almost fully occupied, the seating was very peaceful and even the music playing did not disturb our communication at the table. But we mainly go to restaurants to eat, and when the prices are significantly higher, you expect quality food. Since Italian cuisine is very popular with us, they burned down here. The flavored food was quite adequate, but we were missing important ingredients. E.g. the lasagna lacked beef, literally there was none. The mushroom risotto had two small boiled mushrooms with no taste, and the Hawaiian pizza had only a few pieces of pineapple and low-quality ham. For a higher price, I expect quality food. The entire menu was intriguing, I ordered a Mexicana Pizza, and it was a work of art. I felt bad cutting into it because of how beautiful it looked. It was delicious, though, so I got over it. The service is prompt and polite, but you can tell that it's just a job to them. The only way to fix that is to pay them higher wages. The place is like a bar/club with 75% of the restaurant dedicated to seats and tables. They have music playing through speakers that incorporate traditional Italian instruments, but the music itself can be anything from typical Italian music, to covers of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On," which felt a bit silly to me. Amazing place! The food was fresh and the beer was great. Obviously if you're having a pizza in Prague you can't expect it to be as in Naples, thou I've found it very good considering that I'm a Neapolitan. So if I reckon this place and its food amazing, it means it really is. The next day we had lasagne and grilled vegetables, for lunch time, which were really tasty.
