Sushi Sushi — Restaurant in Prague

Overpriced, small portion and not authentic (at least for Japanese and Korean food)

I picked this place as it had pretty good reviews but if they are true, Japanese food level in Prague is pretty doomed compared to most other European cities. As a Japanese living in europe for over 10 years, I visited numerous jp restaurants. Even when it's not run by actual Japanese people, the food can be authentic and/or delicious even if it's not very authentic. This place is neither.

Mind you, I didn't order any sushi. This is because it was massively overpriced compared to some of the very good and authentic Japanese restaurants in the western European countries...

It has a cute ambience and the sushi chef dressed properly. The service was pleasant enough but both the quality and quantity were very disappointing to...

The moment you walk through the door you're met with modest and constantly smiling chief. Make no mistake his cooking skills are second to none. All the food is freshly prepared in front of you if you wish. Now the food, this is far one of the best sushi places I've been to and I travelled many places across. It's full of flavor, rice is cooked to perfection, it's basically melting. It's also good in terms of costs, for the price you get top class experience. Perfect sushi. Very nice and friendly people. It is one of those places that "you should not judge the book by the cover". Just order and wait for it because you will fall in love with this sushi. It is not a fancy restaurant but the food and the service is much much better then in many top restaurants all over the Europe. Prices are very afordable. I wish this place was closer to me.
