Uzbegim is the place to dine if you are looking for delicious Uzbek cuisine. Uzbek cuisine and culture is quite unique and reflects the different culturual influences on the region. The food is simply delicious. Most westerners will see this as very unique cuisine compared to what they are used to. My favorite uzbek foods are Samsa, Manty, Lagman and Pilav. The Lagman in particular is a very delicious soup type dish that has a bit of a spicy kick to it! The Pilav is probably the best Pilav I have tasted in Prague. The Samsa is also very well known as being one of the best dishes of Uzbegim. The Samsa with the Lagman is a combination that you have to try. This is my favorite Uzbek place in Prague. Traditional place that offers traditional Uzbek food. I was really looking forward to Pilav which was not avaliable at our time of the visit, so ended up ordering Mastava which was surprisingly really good considering it was not my first choice. The green tea we ordered had way too much sugar in it and just a few leaves of tea so was basically water. The traditional uzbequistanian dishes are simply amazing. We tried a kind of meat empanada rich in flavor, very aromatic. The traditional soup with meat, vegetables and rice is flavorfull. You can enjoy the food with a strong black tea that enriches the taste.
