Our first visit to this restaurant was ok, but definitely fell short of expectations.. The common vietnamese fare, like bun bo nam bo and bun cha were ok, although the meat was not, in my opinion, marinated correctly, lacking stronger ginger/garlic/lemongrass/lime/mint flavours. There was no coriander or thai basil among the herbs served, just perilla. The mango- shrimp rolls and dip were excellent, as was the minced pork wrapped in betel leaves. No nuoc mam or its freshly mixed spicy varieties were on the tables (as is typical in vietnamese restaurants). Some dishes on the menu and draft beer were 'not available'. We were told that the restaurant specializes in Hai Phong area dishes, so perhaps next time we will give it another chance and try some of the soups and/or other items...
Read moreI would give this 6 stars if I could since O absolutely adore this place. If you are after an authentic taste of Vietnam in a pleasant atmosphere, look no further! The place itself has a welcoming homey feel. The walls are painted in bright vibrant colors and the table are decorated with countless postcards from Vietnam. I don't think I have met a more warm welcoming staff before. You will be showered with smiles as soon as you step your foot in the door. I've lost count of how many times I've been there. Each time I come the food is always beautiful and delicious. I try to always go for something new on the menu and I have never been disappointed with my order. Read moreFamily-owned, I guess their young folks from Hai Phong speaking perfect Czech serve here astonishingly solid Vietnamese dishes, soups, woks, rolls, paired with good selection of drinks and Pilsner on tap. Very hip, very tasteful and unique decor, probably the best in all of Prague (Vietnamese) good service and since underground will be great place to chill in summer. By far this is the best asian place to eat in the area. Try Bun Bo Hue, or really anything, crispy duck, or dishes with mango. Come here before the rumour spreads and lines...
