Look I’m gonna be pretty honest. Georgian food…. Was never on top of anyone’s list, like ever. But coming to Prague, and eating this food, has made we want to take the next flight to Georgia 🇬🇪 and just go eat everything they have in that country. The food was simply amazing, I mean, my god, I had a beef broth soup with a tomato base and meat and coriander, every ingredient was absolutely so fresh and delicious in that soup, and it was oily and just next level of deliciousness. Every spoon I took was amazing and just left me just speechless. The flavors combining in my mouth was mouthwatering. On top of that, I also had a sort of spinach “pizza”, which was sooooo good, next level awesomeness. Lol, let me put it like this, we were a team of 5 hungry men, and we all looked at each other and nodded and agreed, 5/5. Each and every one of our dishes was that good, when was the last time you went to a restaurant and ate such delicious meal and everyone agreed that it was THAT amazing!? And the prices are really worth every penny. You just can’t go wrong with anything that you order. The setting in itself is scaled off and very basic, which is A-OK, but nothing fancy, and don’t need to be, it was perfect for us, as it’s not a “fancy” dining place, but just a simple locale with a lot of heart in it. And the girl at the counter was very polite and kind, and made us recommendations that were great. So, what are you waiting for? Go there and just eat one of the best and freshest meals that money can buy. I’m craving now again after re-reading my...
Read moreOne word: Great. Two words: Really great. Not gonna lie, I'm not familiar with Georgian food, but I did hear about the tale of the legendary cheese boat. Something outrageously cheesy and buttery, kind of a pizza for someone that has the exact opposite of lactose intolerance who doesn't really care whether or not their arteries get clogged at age 30. Well, I tried it. And boy was it good. It's exactly what it says. Cheese. Boat. A boat made out of dough, filled with cheese. That's all you need to know.
Also, I asked for a little adjustment on the order, for the spinach to be removed as I'm not the biggest fan. Not only did the restaurant follow that request (with delivery services, it's not always guaranteed), but they actually CALLED US to ask if we wanted something to replace the spinach. And then they added another little cheese boat in the order, for free.
Also, come on, they have a khachapuri in the shape of a heart, COME ON, how can anyone not like this? Plus, with 200Kc you can probably feed a whole family, or 2-3 high teenagers.
10/10 recommended, not only do they offer the comfort food you didn't know you needed, but I could tell that they cared about the quality and the service.
P.S: No photo cause we destroyed most of it before we even thought that a photo might be good for the review. Well,...
Read moreI asked the restaurant for a salad without onions. The waiter offered me Ajapsandali. I ordered it and borscht. While I was waiting for my order, the waiter brought khachapuri to the next table with the words: "Sorry for the long wait." I wondered why it took so long when there was no one else but these three people. Then the waiter brought me my order saying, "Sorry, I overwarmed your bread." I thought: So why the hell did you bring it to me if you know you did something wrong?! The salad was with onions. I returned the salad to the waiter, who is the manager at this establishment! And I ordered a cabbage salad. Just cabbage and pepper... borscht was not borscht! One broth, no spices, no salt! Three mini pieces of meat were floating. And there were no potatoes in the soup !!! The next table didn't finish their khinkali and they didn't even eat khachapuri, it was obvious that they didn't like it either..
We also ordered khachapuri with delivery a month ago from Vinohrady area and it...
