ZAU & Bun Cha Asian — Restaurant in Prague

One of my favorite places in Prague. For the most part, it's a combination of my passion for Pho soups and at the same time a large selection of vegan dishes. The restaurant has an unconventional division into two basic menus. One classic and one vegan. Both are similarly extensive.

I've been here for vegan Pho maybe 100 times and I'm not exaggerating. It is definitely among the TOP 3 best vegan Pho in Prague. The pickled bamboo, which you can have as much as you want, is also incredible. I had many other dishes here and I would say that the vegan versions of Bun Cha or Bun Bo Nam Bo are worth a try.

We often go to the bistro with colleagues who only eat meat options, and they are very satisfied. I like to go here whenever I have time and walk around. The smiling lady who is here every day behind the cash register can create a really pleasant...

I have to update my previous review unfortunately - since I have severe food alregy caused by additives, and I was struggling with it for a while and discovered lately they use here "vegan spice" which locals here good know as VEGETA and "soup spice" Maggi containing MSG (which are the killing ingredient of any cousine in general)- I was often eating here and mya allergy was worstening, now I know the reason - food is basically everyday the same for whole year, with small changes. My fav vegetarian self service rest in Prague. Great selection, taste, always fresh, after 17-18 discount on what you eat (80 CZK one plate, but they do not refill then).

Unique vegan menu and great prices! Zau is a small asian style restaurant run by a Vietnamese family. They have both meat and vegan menu + hot buffet during the day. The vegan menu is really big, offering Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai and a few Japanese plates with both naturally vegan and meat-like vegan versions of chicken, beef, duck, shrimps, fish... I haven't seen such great vegan menu elsewhere in asian restaurants in Prague. Food is tasty, cheap, ladies are very kind and smiling all the time. The whole buffet is vegan and in the late afternoon they have 50 % off for that. Highly...
