Express Döner Kebab — Local services in Prague

The food was albeit, good, however, the stress I went through to get this kabob was absolutely not worth it, and makes it unlikely I will go back. Worst customer service and most stressful food experience I’ve had.

I walked up and there were people waiting in line like cattle to get their food. When I get to the order stand, they began treating me like cattle. Before I could give them any instruction, they were yelling at me CHICKEN OR BEEF, on repeat, until I responded. Same with each step of the process. They hate you because you walked into their store to give them money for food. They have zero care about the customer experience. I was there ordering food for 7 people, which you would think would be a positive thing for a business.

At the end, to top it all off, they over-charged me and tried to get away with it. The lady put the card machine down in front of me, and I paid. Then, I tried to pick up my food and the man behind the counter shamed me for not paying, in front of the large line, saying “you can’t pay, you don’t get food, that’s how it works”. So I paid yet again, and was confused. I mentioned I had already paid, but he ignored me. I checked my bank account to make sure I wasn’t crazy, and sure enough, I paid twice, while under stress. I said again “I already paid”, and was ignored. A third time I had to mention I already paid, and they realized that while herding all the cattle quickly, they had charged me for someone else’s order. The lady said “oh, well now you made a friend :D”. I was not ready to be over charged by a place such as this, which had treated me so badly. Finally, when I didn’t accept this, she opened the cash register and gave me some cash to compensate.

The taste of the food was ruined by the horrible and stressful ordering experience, and next time I will get a kabob where the people treat me as human, and apologize for over charging...

Arrogant worker!! Food was ok/ish it did not look appealing as all the cheap doner meat was cut previously and was just lying there dried. I thought to myself why not, I will try it as renting an apartment very close to it and had no other options for a fast food. First food- kebab = cheap meat——2—-salads were fresh and souses were ok, hot is hot ( which in my opinion is good) All together 2/3 out of 5. Typical kebab after drinking a booze, no problems there. But the service is not good at all. First——person behind the counter was so arrogant first thing he said when ordering was—do not touch this, then do not speak loud and last thing that really got me!! Shop is really small and when it came to picking up my order I was standing in the front of the counter ( I was standing right next to him ) he made me walk to other part of the unit and stretched his hands away from me ( like on purpose) so I had to walk to get my food. It may sound silly but if you understand what I mean it was not nice, it made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome! Very disappointing. Dirty. The guy working there handled cash with his hands just before taking my order and then prepared my meal without washing his hands or using a hand sanitizer. I understand he was the only one working there on a Sunday evening, but there weren't that many customers waiting there, so I'm sure he could spare a couple of seconds to clean his hands.
