Løve’s Bog- og Vincafé — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

The café is in two sections, the book store in the front and the wine room in the back. Very distinct atmospheres, both really nice though. A great place to read a book or hang out with a friend or two.

Ordered the "sausage and cheese for two", which comes with a bottle of red or white wine. Very nice selection of meat and cheese. One thing you should be aware of though, buying two sausage and cheese plates and a bottle of wine seems to be cheaper than buying the set. That's not very nice and does subtract from the experience.

Response to response: the wine we got was priced at 149, so 90+90+149=329. I understand that may have been a mistake...

I have come here occationally for many years. The atmosphere is always cozy and I definitely much prefer to read here than reading at DOKK1 or other modern libraries. They also stay open longer. I am usually more hyped by books I find in Faktum or secondhand stores, but the good thing is if you can't find a book you want to read then there is also a second hand store on the other side of the road. I also like their sandwiches, although after having tried the same time too many times I feel the need for a bit more variation. Great place to bring friends or to go alone...

We were four people having Tapas Plates, and they were actually fine, but served with the words - i´m sorry, but we have no more bread than this - and we had less than one person eat in 5 minutes. After this we never saw the server again.
