The bistro is cute, with lots of fun pro-wine posters. A limited but appealing menu.
We aren’t big eaters so asked (in English, unfortunately our only language) if we could share the fixed 3 course menu. The hostess looked somewhat horrified but ended up saying they’d never done that but she supposed so.
The French onion soup was delicious, the beef burgundy tasty and we appreciated our wine. We sat with empty plates and glasses waiting 45+ minutes for the dessert to arrive. No one came to ask if we wanted anything else, although the place was quiet. Eventually we flagged down the hostess and asked if the dessert was coming and the hostess said she’d thought we only wanted two courses. By then we just wanted to leave.
Sadly we left feeling unwelcome...
