Brasserie Belli — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

No reservation, just walked in, friendly warm welcoming. Fast and informative service with no stress. Short menu, no fancy over priced dishes, well prepared, aim is quality with some small details showing a will to stick out (without experimenting) The starter, mushroom soup was robust, tasty and with a nice touch of truffle oil. I got a extra portion without asking for it (nice service). Main dish, a nice Boeuf Bourguignon, with somewhat to soft mashed potato, making it together with the sauce a bit sloppy. Never the less very tasty. Desert, a chocolate cake with ice cream was on the paper a not so interesting end of a nice dinner. But I was actually, and surprised, impressed by the simplicity of it and balance of the flavours. The house wine, not assessed in detail, although it did good with the strong flavours of the food. The 5 star rating is for the package of the experience - service was good at a dinner not too little and not to much, with a very reasonable price for a enjoyable dinner, 250 DKK....

Good service and tasty good value for money has to be the headline here. Their menu for an evening meal is limited to a set course and some starters and main courses. Somewhat varied and there seems to be a little for all tastes and needs. The taste is good without being top class. Lacking a little quality maybe on the wine selection. The set course wine menu when choosing the set course is ok but could be better matched. It is sort of standard. The value is from a good above average size meal with an ok standard comparing to other restaurants on this level and above. That would amount to 3 "stars" here. However. The service was excellent. Attention to detail when serving and a smile to go in addition to friendly and helpful explanation to the different courses. Which certainly goes a long way towards a general...

Fantastisk hyggeligt sted med god stemning, smilende personale og hurtig betjening. Lækkert mad, bla. lidt utraditionel brunch tallerken med atypiske små hjemmelavede retter, som virkelig var en fornøjelse ifht. andre ofte typiske cafe brunch tallerkener.

Et lille, men super ærgerligt "men" til oplevelsen var desværre at vi havde en box/voucher, som vi gerne ville betale med. Brasserie Belli var/er tilknyttet, som en valgmulighed - der skulle ved reservation dog nævnes, at man gerne ville benytte en sådan. Det blev gjort ved vores online bestilling af bord. Ved betaling, blev vi oplyst, at vi skulle have nævnt det, da vi ankom, hvilket vi var uforstående overfor... Tilmed, var det kun maden vi kunne betale med Boxens/voucherens værdi - drikkevarer skulle vi betale seperat. Trods undren, var dette dog ok for os - med forhåbning om, at vi så evt. kunne få en tilgodeseddel el. lign. til stedet, til næste gang vi kom forbi. Dette var dog ikke muligt - så hvis vi ville betale med boxen, ville restbeløbet gå tabt, hvilket i vores tilfælde var en rest på omkring 200 kr. Vi valgte derfor at betale regningen uden box. Det handler ikke om beløbet på besøget eller oplevelsen, for det var absolut helt i orden - men princippet, at det skal være så besværligt og restriktivt, at få lov til at bruge en gavebox, er mildest talt bare hamrende irriterende. Det er ikke svært at gennemskue, at avancen, for restauranten/butikken, ikke er så sjov som ved kontant betaling - det er vi helt med på, men altså.... Efter min overbevisning, hvis man som forretning, tilknytter sig disse løsninger, så går man ind i det, eller så gør man ikke.
