I was honestly so disappointed with the food, especially in comparison to the standard it used to be a few years ago. We took the 7-"course" sharing menu and were really not impressed. The portions were very small (for example, one of the "main courses" to share between two people consisted of 3 scallops?! and another had 1 chicken thigh?!), and the food itself was nothing particularly special taste wise. The dessert was literally some chunks of pineapple and cream served in a coffee cup. I feel like someone is trying really hard to be a gastronomic genius but is just missing the mark. For the price of 495kr per person, you can go elsewhere and have a far better (and more filling) experience. I recently visited a Michelin 1-star restaurant while traveling in Aarhus, and honestly, this restaurant's cuisine completely blew it out of the water! We're not big eaters, so we went with the "small menu," but now we're incredibly curious about what the other menus have to offer.

Jeg havde glædet mig til et besøg på Masvino efter at have læst flere positive anmeldelser, men desværre levede oplevelsen ikke op til mine forventninger.

Vi startede med kæmperejer, som desværre var en smule overtilberedt og lidt grynet i konsistensen. En tatar, der desværre led under en alt for syrlig smag, hvilket gjorde retten ubalanceret. Svamperöstien var dog OK.

Hovedretterne skuffede desværre også. Köften var alt for sød og manglede både krydderier og ordentlig tilsmagning. Grillet blæksprutte og grillet fisk var begge intetsigende og savnede den forventede dybde i smagen. Cruditén, som skulle tilføje noget friskhed, havde desværre slet ingen smag.
