I'm becoming a big fan of this little café in Ørestad, and prefer it over Espresso House for several reasons. For example their lofty interior with panorama window, comfortable indoor climate and cozy work areas that even have the three-pin connectors and stable WiFi that some of us require for our laptops. If you want a meal, there is only one option served by the adjacent cafeteria that also serves the building's many workers, but the food is quite good at only DKK75, and has yet to disappoint. At other times there are sandwiches, boiled eggs, cakes, juices, soda, tea and of course coffee, both the espresso varieties and regular black coffee. Prices are reasonable although I personally think they are a bit in the high end for their much-advertised sourdough bread. Indeed it didn't disappoint me. Met a very friendly and smiley staff, Ben who was originally from Hungary. He is helpful too and brought over the food from the adjacent cafeteria.
This food item (75 DKK) is actually for workers in the building but is also available for patrons of the Cafe. Only 1 item per day but the menu changes daily. Best part they have a vegetarian option for this and it comes with a salad dish too.
Of cos the usual Cafe coffee, cakes and desserts as well as salads and sandwiches are available too.
There's a wonderful vibe about the place with its high ceiling, full floor to ceiling windows, sofas, benches and bar stools. Free Wi-Fi too.
Should I come back again to this country and area, would definitely be back for...
Read moreNice atmosphere, but the service was incredibly slow. Took over 15 minutes before we could order. We were a group of eight and it took 45+ minutes to get our Caesar salads presumably because there was just this one person working. The salad was incredibly disappointing, and very small. Not worth the price at all. Paying 85kr you expect to get more than 10 salad leaves, a few croutons and three dry pieces of chicken with a small dash of dressing. The coffee...
