Latest visit (for previous visit, see below) : nice friendly staff, and I agreed with my waitperson that my burger would come with No Mayo!, but with ketchup on the side. Obviously it came smothered in Mayo, with no ketchup. So be it. My partner requested the truffle sauce option with her chicken, but was served whisky sauce. I don't blame the waitstaff, I think the kitchen staff are letting them down, although having said that, at no time did any of the numerous wait-staff ask if our meal was ok....my partner had to take the whisky sauce back to the counter herself and request the change. I could see the potential waste of time involved and the de-synchronising of our two meals if I asked for my mayo-flooded burger to be changed, so I just ate up, and noted the fail. Anyway, there it is, and there are numerous other places to eat in Fields, any of which I shall choose in preference next time.
Original review : Ok for lunch, but beware if you order a burger with Spejlaeg (fried egg, which costs an extra 12 dk from the menu) - even if you order the egg to be fully cooked, it still gets served with half the egg white uncooked, clear and runny, which on a burger with mayo etc. is about as gross as it gets. In other respects the menu has proven to be ok, so providing you don't order anything involving fried eggs, the cooking staff...
Read moreOrdered Fish'n'Chips and Nachos with my wife. Service was fine, the wait staff were kind to us. Then we started eating, and found that the nachos were basically frozen on the bottom of the plate. When the news of out send back spread, we got some stares from Kitchen staff and who I assume is the owner.
So we sent the plate back in hopes of improvement, and got back the exact same plate with condiments, and they basically just added a little more cheese before putting it into either and oven or microwave, burnt the chips on there and served it to us.
2/5 stars. Wait staff pulled it up from a 1, kudos to you guys/gals. We all know You dont serve frozen food, or re-serve the same plate twice. Ive been here before and I know you can do better than...
Read moreI'm sorry, it was not good. We took garlic bread, ribeye and ribs. The garlic bread was infuriating. Little garlic taste, cold soft spongy bread covered in tomato cubes and pesto. Garlic bread 101: it should be garlicky, warm and crunchy. What is this? Ribeye had not much taste, very bland, but cooked like I asked. The taste of the grill was missing. Not seared properly I guess. The ribs were the worst. Dry like some chicken white. Like an overcooked dish in the oven. For an "American", that's crazy. The garlic potato as a side was one of the best thing we ate.
The tap water is stupidly expensive.
Go to KFC or Burger King next to it. At least you know what you...
