Palermo Pizzeria — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Found this store-front pizza shop while wandering the neighborhood, waiting for our hotel room to be ready. My husband ordered an American-style burger and fries (I wasn’t hungry, but had a bite, then another) and it was delicious! Probably the best burger we’ve had outside of the US. We decided to go back for dinner and each had a calzone variation. These were also top-notch! All ingredients tasted very fresh, on the burger and calzones! I don’t care for young/fresh tomato sauces, preferring sauce that has been cooking for a while, turning darker red and diminishing the acidic taste. Polermo’s sauce was fresh, lighter red, but not acidic and very tasty on the calzone! The crust was also tender and had excellent flavor. I went here for food and when I got home I noticed that they charged me 218dkk for a kebab and chips. I called them to inform them that I had been overcharged and they tried to tell me I was wrong.
