I have no idea why this place is rated so high. As a Nordic person, I was expecting to love this place. However, it is sadly a run down restaurant with genuinely horrible food and underwhelming service.
To begin with, they do not even provide a drinks menu, so you have no idea what you can order or what the price will be. We ordered the garlic bread, and it seemed like it was the same bread they put on the table with some poorly cut onions and garlic powder on top of it. We then received the mains + a wiener schnitzel, hakkebøf, and salmon with spinach. The spinach genuinely tasted like they had mixed up the salt with sugar. A thick, sweet sauce. I think this must be the first time ever that I find the food in a restaurant to be genuinely disgusting. The waiter explicitly asked if everything was ok, and I mentioned the incredibly sweet spinach. His reply? "That's how we always make it", and walked off. I was not going to write a review until this point, but the service does not seem much better than the horrible food.

Read moreMenuen is must visit. It can offend be har du find classic danish food in Copenhagen, now you don’t have to look anymore. This is classic danish food at it’s best. There is no way to describe this food better than “perfection.” While you are eating one of the best meals you have ever had in your life, you can enjoy the interior of an old high class home. You can feel the “hygge” everywhere around you, and it is not diminished when the staff arrives to take your order and you find out that this restaurant is actually driven by a handful of that have lived the last 50 years perfecting the epic meal you are about to have, and they are not shy to make conversation if you are up for it. Danish food and hospitality at its best!
