La Scala Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Esbjerg Municipality

The food standard was very high, and we enjoyed both the pizzas and pasta. The portion size of the pasta was not too big, so between the two of us, we ordered two pasta dishes and 1 pizza, which we finished. We had the carbonara, which was slightly unusual as it came with penne pasta instead of the usual spaghetti, but the flavours were still good. However, I think that the ravioli dish was slightly better as it had more creamy sauce. The pizza was also delicious. I ordered the bruschetta, and couldn't eat it the edges were so burnt. I opened the margherita pizza and the crusts were burnt too! Oh well, I will just eat the insides of the pizza because I am hungry and now all the restaurants are closed. Well, the pizza was cold and tough to chew. Maybe they sell day old pizza here? Not sure. Been to this place some time ago, When it had different owner and everything. All that I can say that After today’s dinner, they improved in every way possible. Probably the best pizza I have ever had in my entire life, and definitely best one in Esbjerg. From the atmosphere, staff, food and the whole feeling, it was perfect. 5/5, will definitely come back.
