Tô Tô Kitchen — Restaurant in Hillerød Municipality

Being huge fans of Vietnamese cuisine, we were recommended to try Toto. Hillerød is a bit outside of our normal range, but we decided to make a short trip out of it, and we were far from disappointed.

The authentic flavors and interesting takes on the classics were a really nice surprise. We had pho, the caramelized pork, and summer rolls, and everything just looked beautiful coming out of the kitchen.

I wholeheartedly recommend trying out Toto, especially if you get to enjoy the lovely dishes outside surrounded by trees and bushes with the Vietnamese tunes flowing out from inside of the restaurant. It was an odd blend of suburban Denmark and one of the more underappreciated Asian cuisines, but one that's very good and recommendable.

My friends and l have been there a couple of times and yesterday was our 3rd visit. The food served yesterday was disappointing. The spring rolls were as they always were, nice but the peanut sauce was unusually mild and diluted. Fried chicken rice was too moisture and there were too much onions. Stir fried beef slice in black pepper sauce tasted mainly soya sauce. The wait for food to be served took way too long. It was a wait of 30mins for the spring rolls to be served and close to another 25mins for the main dish. There were many dine in guests who looked very desperate for their meal. It's amazing with such a small cosy restaurant, service was lacking and lots of confusion from what we observed. Looks like Hillerød has lost a nice cosy place with real good...

Check their review one by one, and track down the reviewer accounts if they are credible. Won't come back for a place that only pushes for marketing instead of quality. Another thing, we had too spicy dressing for our fried spring rolls. Also last time before the lockdown when the restrictions were limiting capacity of guests in restaurants, this place just took in as many guests possible without thinking safety of customers and make delicious food (check tripadvisor).
