Mikkeller is genuinely popular in the local scene, with numerous branches across the city. Every year, beer enthusiasts from around the world flock here to attend the annual beer festival. It's such a grand and iconic event!
The airport branch of Mikkeller provides bar stools for customers — it’s a place for travelers to have one last toast before leaving, commemorating their Mikkeller experience. Beer selections and prices are handwritten in chalk-style fonts on blackboards for beer lovers to browse. If you’re curious to try a new style, the staff here are knowledgeable and will recommend based on your preferences.
Fruit beers here are especially suited for ladies or first-timers, with a sweet plum-like flavor and a smooth finish. For those adventurous enough to explore the more complex sides of life, sour beers are a worthy challenge — one sip, and you’ll have a full-on bitter melon expression! 😂
Although this airport branch doesn’t have as many choices as MBCC, all the classics are available, making it a perfect gateway for those who’ve only ever known wheat beers to discover a...
Read moreToday, 16/04/2019 is a moderately cold, windy, sunny day. I came to the CPH airport after attending a meeting; sort of dehydrated. I loitered everywhere looking for a beer and failed to get attention from other places to order a beer. Then I took a wild guess and walked towards the A/B gates and saw this place. I was never a huge fan of IPA... but this changed my impression about IPAs! It was one of the finest beers I've ever tried. I hated myself for loitering everywhere else to waste time and not having enough time to enjoy a second and a third glass! Had to rush to the flight... But I don't want you to miss this! First, visit Mikkeller's once you passed the security gates... enjoy the beer... then go shopping and to eat something if you have any...

The staff who was also serving the beer was in a hurry even though it wasn't really busy. We wanted to understand a bit more about the beer that they were offering.
However, the beer they have exclusively made for SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) is very very good. You can only buy it on the plane but it costs about €6.
This was an underwhelming experience at...
