To start off, im a returning customer as my first experience was good overall. Unfortunately, this time, staffs are beyond rude, unbelievable! I visited back in July for lunch with my husband and my daughter. She’s still a toddler and she is sitting on her stroller. After over 30 minutes wait in the heat we finally saw our table soon available as they were almost finished clearing so I decided to bring my daughter inside first as she was sleeping and sweating a lot. The staff told us to leave and will call us when the table is ready, my husband mentioned; can’t you just let my daughter wait inside and since there were so many people queuing outside I was trying to make ways to not have the stroller block the walk way. The staff simply said no and told us to go back out. I told him again that look the table is ready can’t we just walk there so we don’t block the entrance? He said ‘No’ so right when we carried the stroller down to the walk way (outside the shop) the moment when the stroller’s wheel touched the ground, he called us to come in again….Excuse me but what is this? Are they having fun? To top that off once we got to our table i made sure to push the stroller the most in (half of the stroller almost under the table) given that I understand that the shop is not big and there is alot of people. 2-3 staff came to me 4-5 separate times and told me to fold the stroller and take my daughter out from the stroller. My husband and I both asked why? It is not consuming more space as it was aligned with the back of my chair. They didn’t care they simply said no! keep the stroller so we asked again ‘then where will my daughter sleep?’ They just said ‘I don’t know your problem.’ Seriously? At this point other tables are watching this drama unfold and all supported me and told the staffs again that the stroller doesn’t affect anything just let the baby sleep. Just when I was about to pour some tea (Attached photo) I’m not sure is this normal in Hongkong but definitely not normal for me it looked as if they have never clean the tea pot and I dont care if this is tea stain or rust but this just made me question the whole HACCP and wonder has the standard of overall F&B in Hongkong really went down? Not coming back to eat ever again whether with toddler or not.

Came here since its on of the few 4+ stars on google map restaurants in Hong Kong This place is always full and its mostly locals that I see so that's a good sign. They give you a menu with Chinese/English names of dim sum for you to pick We ordered: - Har Gow | Prawn Dumplings (highly recommended, thin and soft skin with lots of meat inside) - Siu Mai | Prawn & Pork Dumplings (highly recommended, meat was so tasty and not filled with fillers) - Chicken in glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf (great) - Steamed buns with salted egg custard lava (just ok, needs improvement to be "liquidy" inside) - Cantonese Style Steamed Sponge Cake (highly recommended, light, fluffy and actually really good mild taste) - Glutinous durian rice balls (highly recommended for durian lovers, but a bit expensive at 35 HKD or around $5 USD) Service was usual Hong Kong fast paced "no service" service, but a little better than the usual local Hong Kong places So I highly recommend this dim sum place! I also uploaded the menu, so people can easily see what they offer and prices PS If this review was helpful to you in any way, please "like/thumbs up" 👍🏻 so it may help other people as well, thank you in advance! :)

When in Hong Kong, eat Dim Sum, so I've heard countless times before, but the questions is where to eat it? After all, Dim Sum is globally available, so we wanted to eat local, not somewhere fancy (boy did we learn that lesson...). I found Dim Sum Here by accident, as I just happened to be in the area. The restaurant was small, and there was a line up even in late lunch. We were given a ticket and a menu where we could fill with our orders even as we waited for our table. After a short 15 minute wait, we got our table and gave our filled menu to the waiter. I was pleasantly surprised that our order took a while to be ready and came steaming hot. The star of the table was the pork ribs in black bean sauce. The ribs were chunky and generous, with great flavours. The siu mai were also meaty and tasty. The beef honeycomb was also great if you like to experiment. The fried shrimp wontons were crunchy without being oily, and the steamed egg yolk buns served as amazing dessert after a great Dim Sum meal. The only thing the restaurant lacks is a nap room. Worth a visit for a great Hong Kong Dim Sum!

Ended up here in my search for (budget-friendly) vegan eats in Kowloon. The vegetarian options are clearly marked on the menu. I've never been to a dim sum place before and didn't know how many dishes to order for a proper meal, so I went with these three (I assumed they were fully vegan, I didn't ask): 1) Steamed Bean Curd Rolls in Soybean Soup: Bland, little protein as it's just tofu skins stuffed with radishes and mushrooms. 2) Rice Flour Rolls Filled with Radish Net Spring Rolls: This was surprisingly the best thing I had, the portion is generous and the filling included a crispy ingredient I couldn't identify that provided texture and flavor. Served with soy sauce. 3) Vegetable in Chinese Wolfberry Soup: This is boiled Chinese broccoli or Gai Lan in (I think) soy milk. The serving is very generous. This looked like a lot of food when it arrived, but calorie-wise, it wasn't much. Overall, very bland. I ended up getting a second dinner afterwards, so can't say that this was budget-friendly.

Review in Oct 2022 -------------------- What a wonderful Dim Sums shop, delicious and not pricy ! Have breakfast in the morning. Paid only $38 or $46, you will have a combination of 2 kinds of Dim Sums and coffee or tea. Must try fried shrimp bean curb rolls, fried stuffed pepper in teriyaki sauce, steamed rice rolls and steamed rice. All make to order, hot, fresh and yummy. Stewed pork bone soup with black garlic is also their signature products. They have another branch at Mongkok but Jordan head office is better in product quality, service and environment. Updated Review Aug 2023 : ---------------------------- Visited Dim Sum Here again. Dim Sims remain at a high quality. Despite slight increase in price and no morning promotional set, overall food are not pricy and acceptable. Dinning environment has been deteriorated, packed, noisy and not tidy. 2 star rating for atmosphere indicates failure to keep along with acceptable standard. Overall rating had been downgraded to 4 from 5 stars.

The dim sum here is great. It was the closest dim sum restaurant to my hotel so we checked it out. We tried the usual dim sum order but there was a paper menu you can order from. There are marks on there that shows recommended (these are marked as a crown) and it will show vegetarian as well. Got to the restaurant and we immediately got seated. We sat by the door and a few mins later they asked us to move for a bigger party. They apologized but we had no problems because my mom was cold from the door opening and closing all the time. Food order came out in bursts. The food that they recommend is amazing and it something you can't really get in the states. They did kind of screwed up our order but they fixed it immediately so no harm, no foul. This place is very reasonably priced. A group of 3 eating until we couldn't anymore cost us 50 USD. Highly recommend and will for any travelers going to HK
