Ama Las Terrenas — Restaurant in Las Terrenas

We had heard about this new restaurant from friends who had been to a private event here, and had raved about the food, so we had to try it.

Backyard setting: there is a lovely green, outdoor area through this restaurant which is really cozy and charming. Softly lit, with a bamboo fence and greenery all around. Good music.

Food: super interesting menu with Catalan flavours, tapas and main courses. We shared five tapas, which were delicious and different from anything else in LT. Descriptions with the photos. The Shrimp with caramelized garlic were amazing.

Excellent service: from owners to wait staff, the service was friendly and professional, with explanations of the various dishes we were unfamiliar with.

Finish: although we had no room left for desserts, we were treated to chupitos with our coffees, and we felt a real camaraderie as we left. We will...
