My husband and I have been traveling to the Dominican Republic every year for the past 11 years and this was our best trip by far. Not just because Samaná is absolutely breathtaking, but also because we chose to stay at this hotel. I booked directly online with the hotel’s website which was a very smooth process. I had a few questions about some of the accommodations and emailed the hotel. I quickly received a reply from Luis who was filling in for the manager. He was very informative and friendly and answered all of my questions. We arrived and were so impressed with this stunning hotel that looked like a ship. Check in was a breeze and when we saw our room we couldn’t believe that it looked exactly like the pictures online. No false advertising here. The room was absolutely spotless with all the amenities you could ever need and the view was priceless. Everything was in walking distance. The staff was also fabulous. From Chiki at the pool bar, the room service guys to the housekeeping staff, everyone was so warm, friendly and attentive. But I have to make special mention to Luis who went over and above the call of duty. From recommending restaurants to scheduling excursions, he was always making sure we were having the best time ever, which we did so THANK YOU LUIS!! We will definitely be back (as long as Luis is still there)....

One day we came back to our room and they had left the gas on in the kitchen so we had to air out our room for long time.|We asked to borrow an iron board and as you can see on the picture we got one, but as you can see it was of no use.|The hot tub at the balcony is not a jacuzzi, it is only a hot tub, and we were never able to use it, since the warm water was not enough to fill it up.|For the price and the fact they advertice it as 5 star, I would recommend you to find another place to stay.|The breakfast was nice, you go downstairs to the bakery which is very good.|It is not a hotel I would recommend, and I would...
