This is a review for a chinesse restaurant called Nice Tea on Bolivar Avenue, No. 27, Plaza Juan Dauhjare, la esperilla.
The decoration of the restaurant is very nicely decorated, the prices are very reasonable with a lot of chinesse dishes available, we ordered two appetizers, the restaurant is not expensive, you have a lot dishes to order. One of the appetizers were dumplings and the others Eggs Rolls, the dumplings were good but the egg rolls were not, the problem with the Egg Roll was that the oil was old, you could taste the oil in the egg roll, which was not a pleasant flavor, there were two egg rolls and me and my friend only took one by each, we called the waitress and ask them to take the egg rolls back to the kitchen because the egg rolls were not eatables, asked the waitress not to charge us for egg rolls and we would order another appetizers, the waitress told us they would not remove off them from the bill, the owner told us he was not going to do that. Instead we ordered a beef dish which was better, there are many chinesse restaurants in Santo Domingo and we found better options than this one. We were dissapointed. Egg rolls were only 125 pesos, the prices was not the fact, was the horrible flavor because of the oil, as a result we would never go back because there are better options in...
Read moreThe Tea here is good, but the food (la comida) is terrible! Customer service was is horrendous and is as bad as the food tasted. I would definitely not recommend this spot for your food needs, stick to the boba tea. The chicken and steak tasted like old rubber, and the management communicated poorly and was unaccommodating. We did not even eat the meat, we tasted it and left it all on the plate as well as sent it back to the kitchen.
This message comes off harsh, but it is very pleasant compared to how we were treated in the restaurant. The management did was not willing to discount the bad food, or take any accountability for the terrible service.
I would not recommend anyone with a pulse to eat at this place, great boba...
