Very nice dining experience downtown Santo Domingo. The experience is Italian/ International and I got to try the fried seafood entree, lasagna, and tradition Italian pasta place, all three very well put together and delicious. Service was attentive and the inside scene is very well put together and decorated. I walked in without a reservation but suggest making one, particularly for larger groups and private rooms requests. The feeling is more of a high end experience and I wish they’d had an outdoor terrace. Be minded that the entrance is on the street and there’s no access from the plaza, although I did park there. I will go back to try more...

I recently dined at Santinos and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The first thing that struck me was the exorbitant prices. For the amount we paid, I expected an exceptional culinary experience, but what we received was mediocre at best. The quality of the food was quite disappointing. However, the place was very nicely decorated but empty as this would be a one time dining experience for most people. In summary, Santino charges premium prices but fails to deliver in both food quality and service. There are much better dining options available that offer greater value for your money. I would not recommend...

Fully recommend this place, we were at party of about 20 and they treated us excellent, not to mention that the food was amazing, I believe I had a bite of most plates (I’m a butterfly) and wow everything was so good. Tipping my hat to the chef! Clean bathrooms with actual personal towels to dry your hands, that was such a nice touch! Atmosphere was super cozy and they were very accommodating. 10 out of 10 will recommend and will come back next time we are in town. I just wish I would’ve done much better with the pictures but honestly I was just enjoying the family. Next trip I will update and take...

I recommend the pistachio burrata. Everything else was just ok. The restaurant is pretty with a romantic lighting environment. The Prawn linguine was dry at the top and soggy inside, meatballs had a weird taste and didn't taste freshly made, the red sauce looked store-bought, and dessert was nothing out of the ordinary. Good place if you want to have a wine at a nice looking place that is not crazy expensive and add average food for a not special occasion.
