We had the wonderful experience of staying here at Drumbuie Farm, Drumnadrochit. My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and as avid lovers of Highland coos wanted to stay somewhere we could guarantee seeing them. The farm had both ginger and black Highland cows and we were able to feed Mac the Highland bull who was not only adorable but a true gentle soul. Our bedroom looked out upon the fields with the cows and we had the most amazing view of the mountains and Loch Ness. Breakfast was delicious and we were offered several options but we opted for the full cooked breakfast, which kept us going right round past lunchtime. Our hosts Quita and Paul were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They literally smiled constantly the entire time we were there. We told them to expect us back next year with our children too. We met two lovely couples who were also staying at the B&B, one from New York City and the other from Australia who were absolutely wonderful. The scenery was stunning and the air was so clean and fresh and the surroundings were peaceful and we literally slept like babies. The locals in all the villages we visited were welcoming and friendly and we truly felt at home there. There is lots to see đ and do but you will need a car to visit all the stunning places The Highlands have to offer đ

My family and I were finding a place to grab a small bite after touring the castle and then found this little gem. Came with half an hour to spare from closing time and the owners happily let us dine in still. It's a B&B but the tearoom is open for all. The menu isn't the most diverse but what is there I can tell you now is very yummy and good portioned. I tried the Chocomel too as its claimed to be the best chocolate drink in the world. That claims holds true after I tried it. The sandwiches/toasties came freshly made upon order with sides of coleslaw, crisps and salad. It was a very hearty and well balanced meal indeed. There is tea and scones but we wanted a bigger meal to have as dinner. The owners were accommodating and chatty as we were the only patrons at the time. The tearoom itself was situated with a great view of the owner's farm and Loch Ness. There are adorable Highland cattle and sheep grazing around. We were lucky enough to have not just one, but two rainbows (bright and faint) appear near the Loch! What a view to finish the meal. Overall we enjoyed our time and food and will definitely recommend this family business to others looking for a bite at lochness. It's a newlt opened place as well so do share your own pleasant experiences too which I'm sure you'll have. Hope to visit again!

Once in a lifetime Highland Hairy Coo Experience! Amazing place to stay! We stayed one night at the B&B and had an amazing stay! Checkin and checkout instructions were super clear and so was parking. The bathrooms were a m a z i n g and they also had heated floors (!) which unfortunately we didnât utilize (because it was summer). Bedroom was super cute and clean! Cows were of course super super and cute and weâd ever got special feeding time with them in the evening after other cow feeders had left! Breakfast was amazing! They made either a Scottish breakfast or French toast. They also brought out drinks, toast and anything else you ask for! They also asked us when we checked in what time we wanted breakfast. Although it was a cozy B&B, we never felt unsafe leaving our belongings while we went into town to explore or to dinner! There was also a baby cow born the morning we got there! It was adorable prancing around!

A must visit place whether your travels take you in or out of Inverness . Charming hosts, delicious food and amazing views overlooking the highland mountains... AND adorable coos. This Farmhouse Tearoom was an impressive start to our trip before we visited Urquhart Castle. We ordered some toasted sandwiches and they were cooked to perfection. We were so impressed how something so simple could be so delicious we couldn't leave without trying desert. The Eton mess was heavenly. And because no visit to a tearoom is complete without a scone (with cream and jam) we just had to try it too... Bellies full we then strolled around to admire the picturesque landscape and spy the famed Highland Coos. Mac the bull and all his cow girlfriends were so cute to watch!! We had an amazing time and highly recommend to visit here whether you're a local or just passing through the area!!!

We stopped by Drumbuie Farm B&B and Quila Cridhe Tearoom on our last day in Scotland. We didnât have a reservation, so unfortunately couldnât do the afternoon tea (now we know to book ahead), but we did get to pay ÂŁ5 each to meet the Highland coos, and THAT was amazing. The coos were so sweet, and there was even a baby coo! We got to feed them bread, which they happily gobbled up, and grabbed some cute photos. It was such a fun and memorable experience, especially since we hadnât seen any coos yet during our trip. Even without the tea, we were really glad we stopped by. Totally recommend it if youâre in the area.

Weekend because be start quickly on the side of the road when we saw a sign saying that you could feed some hairy coos. I mean how can you pass that by right? It is a little house that tells you to be kind because you're walking into their family home, for 5pounds you get a little bag of bread which we were able to feed to about four or five Hairy Coos. I have to say it was one of my highlights, especially seeing the length of the tongue of one of them! Definitely a worthwhile stop. I can't say anything about the rooms or the tea room, but we did walk through the tea room and it looked quite quaint and lovely.
