I visited the restaurant on 25 July 23 and again on the 26 July. The service was great and staff is very friendly and helpfull. The pics i posted were all taken on 25 july.
25 July: The beer was cold and served quickly. As a starter I had the piri piri shrimps (pil pil) and they were fantastic. I would rate the shrimps a 10. Super hot and served with warm bread, butter and 2 sauces. The oil in which the shrimps was served was full with garlic and other tastefull spices/herbs. As a main course I had the steak 400 gram and it was served on the hotstone. I had to ask for an additional plate to prevent the steak was over-cooked. The french fries were crispy and tasted very well. The steak was a 8.5 on a scale of 10. The milk shake strawberry was ok but not special. The restaurant is located on a busy street with lots of traffic. Nice to see a bit of Egypt after being in an all iclusive resort, but not calm and relaxed. 26 July: This time i visited again, this time with my wife and kid (15 yrs) We all had the shrimps pil pil and we all love them. Rate: 10 My wife had the camel steak and liked it a lot. The steak was too big and i had to help her finish it 😀. Rate: 8.5 My daughter had the salmon steak on the hot stone. I dont understand why you would serve salmon steak on a hot stone and she had to grill it for at least 5 minutes as it was served almost raw. She rate the steak a 6, but ok she is not too generous in positive scores. I tried the tom hawk steak, but this was a disaster. It was the most expensive steak in the menu but it was not even 1 cm thick and therefore almost well done when the thing was put on the table. It weighted probably around 200 gram including the tiny bone. My advise: visit the place as it is very nice, but do not order a tomahawk steak is my advise. Just order the 400 gram steak on the stone and you are safe and will enjoy. If you dont like salty food, ask the steaks to be served saltless, so you can do this part yourself.
So all in all, mixed emotions and i was really disappointed last nite as i had high hopes for...
Read moreCame here for my final meal in Egypt, and it turned out to be a perfect way to wrap up my seven-day journey.
We started with the spicy shrimp appetizer. Although not the freshest, the shrimp dish surprised us with its bold, almost Sichuan-style chili oil. It was so flavorful that we even used it later as a dipping sauce for our steaks.
For mains, we got the T-bone and Sirloin steaks. Watching our waiter ignite alcohol poured over sizzling hot stones was certainly a highlight, but it was more about visual appeal than gourmet precision. The steak quality, somewhere between USDA Choice and Select, exceeded my expectations given the ~$15/piece price.
I'd recommend the T-bone over the Sirloin, which was noticeably fattier and tougher. Almost 20% of the Sirloin was uneatable fat, so I fed to the stray cats nearby. Glad they enjoyed the trimmings!
Sure, this isn’t some Midtown Manhattan’s fancy steakhouse. The way I think is: imagine stepping into a Denny’s, but leaving with a more engaging dining experience and surprisingly decent steaks. That's a...

We had dinner at Charly’s Hot Stone Steak, and all I can say is: WOW! This place is not just a restaurant – it’s a full experience! The hot stone concept is brilliant – you cook your steak exactly how you like it, and it stays hot and juicy until the very last bite.
The meat was top quality – tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The sides were fresh and delicious too. We especially loved the homemade potato gratin and the rich pepper sauce – absolutely mouthwatering!
The staff were super friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. This place is also very family-friendly – they even brought a highchair for our little one and were so kind to her.
The location on Kornesh Road – Old Sheraton area is great, and the atmosphere is a perfect mix of cozy, modern, and local Egyptian charm.
📸 It’s Instagram-worthy, taste-bud approved, and very reasonably priced.
We’ll definitely be back! 10/10 – Huge thanks to the entire team for a wonderful...
