Angel Restaurant Coffee — Restaurant in Al Hadaba

We had already been travelling Egypt for a week. Second night in Hurganda and we chose to dine here. Good atmosphere was a good starter. We sat, we ordered our drinks and shisha and had fun. Food came later, tasted great but the quantity was small. What ruined our night bad and it is the reason I am generously giving out my 2 stars is that there is a strange policy that we ONLY met in this restaurant that we have to pay the ratio of 1 euro to 40 egp. We had already been paying with euro everywhere and not only we paid 1 euro to 50 egp someone offered us 1 euro to 52, kinda higher than exchange haha. What is the cherry on top of the cake is that we could not pay with card!!! Imagine all of this information being told to us when we asked to pay ofcourse. Not when we sat, not before we ordered. Hands down best place in Hurghada! Easily accessible location right next to the main street, which is walking distance from most budget accomodations. Food is great, while at the same time the cheapest place I've ever been to. 3 dollars for a full size pizza is CRAZY!! The people working there are helpful and Always looking out for you. In conclusion: If you want to hangout with family or friends in a safe and affordable place, definetely go there. Just be careful, you might become a regular there and don't want to visit any other...

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered meat, but no one asked me how I wanted it cooked. I had to go and tell the waiter myself that I wanted it rare, red inside with blood to make sure he understood. He said “OK” and seemed to tell the chef, but my request was completely ignored. After a long wait, the meat finally arrived dry and overcooked. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he just apologized and did nothing about it. Too bad — I was expecting much better service and cooking quality. But...
